Im glad im not the only one with these problems! Runaway chemicals and flakes in the water.... I'm going to try it in my salt water tub. Hopefully plasti dip will handle that. It's definitely worth a try considering the price of replacement pillows.
@@regthebackyardjackofalltrades after 6 months they started peeling , but that might be because my water started getting acidic , anyways I ended up buying new ones now 😁
UPDATE: Ok after 3 months , everything was good untill.... I lost control of the chemicals and the waters PH and alkalinity was all out of wack , after this the two of the pillows started peeling in a few places , I think the water became acidic when PH went down and that is what caused break down of the plastidip , after fixing the water the other pillows are still fine .
Good video, and appreciate the updates.

After 1 year, the plasti dip is peeling off. Bits of plasti dip paint are floating around in the hot tub and getting caught in the filter.
How are they holding up? only 3 coats? will try today we also have a bromine tub
Still good 👍 yes only 3 coats , I only bought one can , so that's all I could get out of it .
