  • Chicken Lollipop Recipe
    Ingredients:
    Chicken drumettes or wings (shaped like lollipops)
    2 tablespoons corn flour
    1 tablespoon red chili powder
    1 tablespoon garlic-ginger paste
    1 tablespoon oil
    Salt to taste
    1 teaspoon chili flakes
    1 teaspoon cumin powder
    1 teaspoon coriander powder
    1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    Oil for deep frying
    Silver foil for wrapping
    Garnish: chopped coriander or parsley, lemon wedges
    Instructions:
    Prepare Chicken:
    Shape the chicken drumettes or wings to resemble lollipops by pushing the meat towards one end, exposing the bone.
    Marinate Chicken:
    In a bowl, mix corn flour, red chili powder, garlic-ginger paste, oil, salt, chili flakes, cumin powder, coriander powder, sesame seeds, and soy sauce.
    Add the chicken lollipops to the marinade and coat them thoroughly.
    Let the chicken marinate for 10 minutes.
    Heat Oil:
    Pour enough oil into a deep frying pan or wok to submerge the chicken lollipops.
    Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
    Fry Chicken:
    Carefully place the marinated chicken lollipops into the hot oil.
    Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
    Remove the fried chicken lollipops from the oil and drain on paper towels.
    Wrap with Foil:
    Once the chicken lollipops have cooled slightly, wrap a small piece of silver foil around the exposed bone end. This makes them easier to hold and adds a decorative touch.
    Garnish and Serve:
    Arrange the chicken lollipops on a serving platter.
    Garnish with chopped coriander or parsley and lemon wedges.
    Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
