Dale, don't listen to these safety police that have never done this kind of work. PPE beyond sunglasses is irrelevant while cutting at a safe elevation like your guy was. Nice job !
Thanks Mark we always try to push safety first but as you know they’re just some situations where all that gear is hard to work with or maybe not easily accessible .
Be careful of filming the guys when they are not wearing the appropriate safety gear! It looks warm where you are. Great job of the dock, never knew of these lifts thanks for posting.

Really enjoy watching your videos, but watching your guy cutting the tops off the piling with the chainsaw was a little scary, he should really have more PPE, than just sunglasses on. I do construction for a living myself, and I’ve seen some pretty horrific accidents that could have been avoided with proper ppe. The job is only profitable if everyone goes home at the end of the day. There are a lot of online OSHA courses people can take. They are cheap compared to a workmans comp claim, or even worse.
