Jon has inspired me year after year in his walk with Christ. Both in old and new songs, in his solo work or with Switchfoot, in his musical projects, missionaries, theology, life, family... Everything about Jon Foreman has always had the scent of Christ.
@@lovealwayswins7053 thank you it's about a guy with special needs, who got accepted at a specialized school. When he got there, he met a very shy girl who he thought was his friend but as he went for his second year, nothing turned out how he wanted and he started feeling suffocated and like he was a burden due to his suppossive friends clames that he did not want to learn to move around on his own when they clearly knew that he needed help. But luckily he had 2 very loyal friends who were very understanding and it turned out that one of them was none other than his twin brother.
@@HG-ey6gu wow, that sounds really good. I'm sure writing a story, a book or a song is not easy. Unless your Jon Foreman, who makes it look easy! Congrats on being brave and going for it!
This song has a calming effect on my soul and I feel like I'm on that Southbound train next to Jon and Jesus as we sing " I'm not so sure home is a place you can still get to by train" ...

Hey, he inspired me to finish writing my story which took me 2 years and to learn spanish.
Jon should have a cologne ,
"Jesus essence " or
"Scent of Christ"
@@HG-ey6gu I would love to read your story

Jon and the rest of Switchfoot are true musicians in the fact that no matter what, they must simply make music. Beautiful!
You are singing to the future
I first heard this song over 10 years ago when I met Jon and Switchfoot. 10 years later still touches my heart
I hate to admit it, but i'm crying man... haha
So happy Jon included this on his live album. My wife and I had this song as our first dance, so I always find myself tearing up listening to this
This song just moves me. He's absolutely phenomenal
Been listening to this gem for over a decade now!

when someone put the correct words to describes moments in your life, and beyond (what you felt inside)... thats what Jon represents to me.
I remember watching this livestream and I'm so glad that we get to see snippets of it. 🤍

@Jon Foreman , any details on the Gibson that you use in studio? Looks like a '50s or early 60s J-50.

Jon return back to Christ.

Our prayers should go to Jon since he traded Gods true word for the lies of the world
