Am always alive when I hear this sweet music from the beautiful women from my mother land. God bless our cherished State and our caring and respected Oba.
Wow! Years ago I married a man from edo. We have three beautiful children but am from another west African country. It is beautiful watching this woman dance. This is a culture my children will never know. We live in USA and my husband passed away years ago and am never planning on taking them to Edo.
I bet our Oba love the Igbabonerihiwin so much because, on every occasion, the dance must be there! Take note and watch in the future! He loves the dance; as a matter of fact, I used to go to the Ogbe stadium just to watch the Igbabornerhiwin!!!
@@adesisimealfred253Oh, okay, this is news to my ears! I will have to research about this. To be Oba, you must be completely Edo kpataki. However, I do not know if they consider this in such a realm with the Esan. But of course, we are one to a certain point!!
Edo doesn't have dance at all almost all the dance steps here are copied from urhobo, and Hausa... Lolz 😂 their masquerade dance is copied from itsekiri
Bini have dance. The women in green wrapper did something close to the bini dance. The other dancers represent other part of edo. Traditional bini dance is very elegant. You need charisma for it.
I am Igbo but honestly I love Edo music so much. Always well organised and sounds sweet
❤❤❤
Please where in Lagos can I rent the Edo custum for school children cultural day
I'm proud to be a Benin girl 💯❤️

@mirabel dances can be similar at times, remember urhobo and itsekiri are close relatives.
