And Honkai isn't known to any civilians before Befall so this can actually make sense as an AU, and it would put even more depth to the already deep lore of KiaMei drama and angst. Plus Kiana getting adopted by although short lived parents is a better pill to swallow then what canon Kiana went through traveling through different continents for 4(?) years all alone taking care and raising herself while trying to find her Dad.
