Lifelong Shrewsbury fan now resident and citizen of New Zealand, but still follow the towns every game and result. It’s a good day today. Well done Gareth and the team. COYS 👏 👏
SWFC owls fan from the US here. I absolutely love the passion behind your clubs in the UK, it is so invigorating! sending much love to all football fans across the pond. its times like this that make me feel so much joy!
When 11 went up on that board i was thinking 3-3 written all over it. After about 75, we always look knackered and it was same yesterday. Ainsworth is going to try and make that different ans and will hopefully make us a high stamina, all game pressing football team.
This was a surprising victory by Shrewsbury Town at home against the high flying Birmingham City under a new manager who managed Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers, good friends!!!👍🏾
Congrats to the Shrews from a Blues fan, but you got undeniably lucky with two out of the three goals. But hey, when Lady Luck smiles your way grab it with both hands. Desperately poor display by Birmingham, the high press getting exposed yet again because our defenders are too pedestrian & really lack the skills to anticipate & halt counter attacks. Hopefully CD starts to curb the possession stats in favour of more incisive attacks with the ability to defend.
Did you not see the injurys, lyndon d. Had his nose bust! Joke is the fact you don't pay attention to the injurys and fake b.s the shrews where doing repeatedly.
I'm a Forest supporter of many years now and a football lover in general and I think Gareth Ainsworth is great for the game His enthusiasm knows no bounds It's a real shame the QPR job didn't work out for him Wtf has happened to that club ? Shrewsbury needed this win so badly Went to their old ground a few times great support Brum will at worst be in the playoffs come may 2025 I reckon though automatic promotion is expected Brilliant game ♦️🏐🥅⚽❤️
I missed the 3rd goal as was getting some sexy time in the toilets at the time when everyone was cheering i thought i better hurry up and finish and get back in the stands
❤ BAD BAD NEWS 👎 ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH 😡 😠 🫣 THE DEFENDERS AND GOOLKEEPR IS NOT RIGHT BAD 😑 YES NEW PLAYERS IN JANUARY PLEASE COME ON YOU ROYAL BLUES 🙏 MAYBE UP THE ROYAL BLUES 💯% 😉........
To be fair the tactics Blues employed were reckless. All Shrewsbury had to do, & they did to good effect, was boot the ball upfield & chase hoping for a lucky bounce. Our defence was lumbering & the Shrews did get two lucky bounces. I wouldn't mind but we've seen numerous attacks cut through the Blues lines but fortunately the opposition haven't had the quality to capitalise. CD will hopefully now get to grips with that.

Blues fan here, well done Shrews.
You always have a soft spot for teams that you remember having a good run with on Championship Manager way back in the day. Well done Shrewsbury Town!

Lol
Plus where did that joke of a referee get 10 mins injury time in the 2nd half.
Subs and time wasting. There was loads of both.

4:26 岩田ゴール!
anyone would think this was a cup final for Shrewsbury lol
Shrewsbury did play well today tbf but their 2nd and 3rd goal had a lot of luck behind them
