आप किसी भी wool से बना सकतीं हैं। 2ply की wool के लिए 10no. की सलाई, फंदे 85 से 90 तक। 1 इंच के लिए 10 no. की सलाई पर 7 फंदे होंगे। घुटने के ऊपर इंचीटेप से गोलाई में नाप कर फंदे डाल लें।

Ribbing 1 सीधा और 1 उल्टा होता है। ribbing के साथ ऊपर व नीचे 4.5 से 5 इंच तक लम्बाई बना लें। बीच में भी 6 से 8 सलाई ज्यादा डाले।

90 sts ठीक रहेंगे। 34 सलाई, 17 सलाई सीधी तरफ़ से और 17 सलाई उल्टी तरफ़ से। बाकी सब वैसे ही। आप इसके साथ 2 डोरी बना लेना कि अगर थोड़ा loose हो तो उस पर डोरी बाँध ली जाए
