Thanks Ozzie. Well done. I just ordered this lift and look forward to delivery in six weeks. One question did you get the 110 or 220 motor? And if 110 what size breaker did you install? Thanks, Dennis
Wow. Great video. I didn't know about car lifts until I saw and video of a two post car lift and thought about how unsafe that was. This looks much safer although I'd probably wanna put some steel reinforcement under the lift as well knowing how extra I am
I was worried about the lift height hitting the garage door opener, but it looks like it works fine. The led lights are nice under there. This makes me want a lift.
Hey man you did it and your review was posted in the recommended videos of the one on which I read your comment. Very cool. Also agree ability to eyeball fluid and flexibility for pump location are good design (and seem to indicate the lift is well-engineered). Saw another comment that the model has evolved, and that seems like it’s pretty consistent with good/best mfrs and products. If that’s your car “filthy” ....just better yours in a video than mine lol.
Great video! What size breaker/circuit do you the pump plugged into? Ive seen conflicting info on the 408-sl. Some sources say 30amp while others say 20amp.
Great review! It looks like the 408 has gotten a few upgrades since I bought mine. And nice job rigging the safety release! The Camaro isn't bad either ;)
Great review. What is the exact height of the clear space under your car when raised to the ceiling. I am considering this lift and my ceiling is 8ft 10 inches and I need a minimum of 40 inches. The car on top is a C 7 convertible with a height of 48 inches
Here are my details that might help you. The top of my head is roughly 48” tall as I’m sitting in my wheelchair. My garage ceiling is 9 feet. My Camaro was a 2016 so you can Google how tall the top of those cars are. I was able to lift my car high enough and roll around underneath my car without any issues. So I’d think you could get your minimum of 40” clearance going by what I just said. I’m pretty sure a C7 Vette can be any taller than a 2016 Camaro in ceiling height.
Really good video and review but you scared the hell out of me not setting ramps down on the lock properly prior to getting underneath the vehicle. Please look that up about properly setting your locks. Don't want your wife to come home to you being crushed under that thing either🙂 Thanks and Stay Safe!
@@robbjerls2252 All four of those locks would have to not fall into the slot at the same time as the car creeps down. Aren't they all independent and spring-loaded? I mean I guess it's possible, especially if you are filming another final destination movie.
@@manny6584 ok have fun! Just saying it's much safer to have a fully closed pocket knife then a half open pocket knife. @@robbjerls2252 the knife analogie is probably not a good one. It's a lot safer to both those things to the floor but a lot of people don't do that either. I agree with you buy was just saying, the odds of all four locks not falling into place is probably slim.
Technically it can work with a 15A breaker but most people like myself put it on a 20A breaker. But I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine with 15A. Just try not to run anything else on that circuit while you’re running the lift’s pump.
Hi sir you seem like a nice guy I live in franklinville NJ and am looking for a 4 post lift too I have a 68 Chevelle ss I restored from the ground up we would be good neighbors both being Chevy guys I like your video an will watch again before I make a selection Ray Stein

I thank you for this great summary on the Atlas lift. Just started looking and find the number of choices daunting.
I researched a ton of lifts as well. But in the end I chose the Atlas after watching a couple great reviews on UA-cam about that lift.
Great video, thanks for sharing mate. I love your LED lights. Gonna do the same when I get my lift.
Great review! Helped with my decision to purchase one. Nice Camaro too! I have a 17 SS 1LE
Great review! Thank you. This was exactly what I needed to see to make my decision on which lift I would be buying.

@@densmustanggarage hi where did you get it from and what was the price? the prices are ridiculous now
Very, very good video! 4 post is a sure way to go. Beautiful car and neat and tidy garage. Thank you sir!
Great review. I'm considering this particular model myself, so this is very helpful...thanks. One more comment - love how clean your garage floor is!!
Thanks for the nice words. I try to keep my garage surgically clean even though it drives my wife insane. lol
Is this lift long enough for a half ton Ram?
Looks great. Thank you for your review.
Great review! This has sealed the deal on the Atlas lift for me. I will use your LED light idea also, makes great sense.

What difference(s) do you see?
Bigger fluid reservoir and a couple more warning stickers

if the car goes down on it's own, wont the lock catch it anyway?
@@manny6584 They should but what if they don't. Always better safe than sorry. Especially if it only takes a second to do it right.

Looks good I’m thinking about the same lift it’s just 110v hookup ain’t it and did you have to set it up on a big breaker?

Ozzie Alarcon yea all my plug outlets I went with 20 amps in the shop so this is just a 110v plug ain’t it so you can plug it into the outlet

So the disadvantage of this lift is it does not allow you to remove wheels vs the 2 post lift right.
on your light kit you have two kits do you need two controller and two dimmers
Yes because they are do two separate light sets.

One more question about how long of the 110v plug do they give you to reach a plug
Howell’s Lawn Care they don’t give you a cord at all. You can pick one up from your local Lowe’s or Home Depot for pretty cheap.
where did you buy it from ? and how much did it cost? thanks
Look at the description in the video. The information is there.
