PC-Engine Super CD Gradius II: No Miss 1st loop

An old No Miss run of the 1st loop of the PC-Engine SCD port of Gradius II Gofer No Yabou (includes player subtitles). Initially recorded on VHS, I'm posting it here for archival purposes.

Excellent replay Kiken! I remember you posting this years ago on the shmups forum hosted on your old webspace in the pre-YouTubube days. Really like the funny and informative subtitles, nice touch. It was always good of Konami to include extra exclusive stages to the PC Engine versions of Gradius.

I remember downloading this off Archive.org many years ago, still got this video on an external HD. Would watch it now and again for the little annotations that you have on it, other times when I wanted to see a serious run of this version of the game. Back then there were very few playthroughs of this game, yours was the only one I knew of for a long time. In time it inspired me enough to buy myself a copy of the PCE CD version, but had to run it via Magic Engine for a long time (the game desynchs it's intro on that) and later on Ootake. $30 on a game I do not regret spending. Never picked it up on Wii VC due to having the original copy.
