I Have at least 85% of what al you showed on Vinyl. As a young lad, I "d been into to Jimi since late 1970, and collected all kindsa vinyl, back then boots, rare, studio released, tons of photo's and posters Galore( God I wish I still had my Jimi Hendrix Posters!!) Some how thru the year I managed to hold on to MOST of MY album collections. Good presentation, NOT too Long for Me, Mr.Speedy, Ya kept it informative,ya kept it moving. Stay Groovy and enjoy the tunes!
Very cool. I have 62 different Hendrix CDs... thanks to many years collecting in the 90's in Greenwich Village before Janie Hendrix took over his estate.
Fantastic collection. Forgive me if I missed these two. Midnight Lighting and Crash Landing are a must have for a Hendrix collector like yourself. Both produced by Alan Douglas released in 1975. The production is really good!!!
I’m sorry, I can’t get behind records that are full of session players that Hendrix would not have put in his records, and a producer that had not worked with Hendrix
Love Midnight Lightning..Gypsy Boy one of my favorite Jimi songs. Weird i know! Jimi makes his guitar literally cry..sobbing with the wammy bar. I cry with his strat when i hear that track😢😢
You seem like a cool guy. I wish it was you I sold my LP collection to in 2009. I had the last recording ever at Isle of Fehrman. I won a double CD for answering that question correctly in 2000. Hendrix in the West-Little Wing and VC. And Ember records Vol 1+2 bombastic at Royal Albert Hall 69. You have Vol.2. 1 is better w/Smashing of the AMPS. Isle of Wight 3 LP worth it for Midnight Lightning and Message to Love. get at cut-out used store,....NOW? I'd love to hear and record onto tape....the new Electric Ladyland Box set. I wish I could send you live and unreleased. great alt. release of 1983 and more. Thanks for sharing.
Copenhagen 9/3/70 bootleg is a diamond in the rough . They were taped by three audience members each with a mic and tape recorder but not a cassette recorder . The three tape were mixed together for a stereo effect. The concert was later enhanced where there was signal loss by sound engineers and computers . It's worth a listen on UA-cam but is very rare on vinyl. I saw a record for around three hundred dollars but that was years ago .
Impressive collection, I didn't see Band Of Gypsy's 2 there tho! Also I had one called Midnight Magic that was a double album, one record was live at San Diego not a great quality recording and the other record had rare studio out takes, there was Driven' South and Sgt Peppers and a version of God Save The Queen which apparently wasn't Jimi it was recorded by David Henderson I think. All my records are around different friends collections now but at least they're safe!
Dude, you mention cleaning records. Well I'll leave that up to you but the best thing is to buy a $200 needle. i had a German double Hendrix record with just his face on a light tan cover. well, it was scratch to hell. But with that needled, which I got for $80, it went over the deepest cuts. Amazing difference. but yes, they wear out too.
nice collection bro !!!! i started collecting hendrix in 1982 so I can assure you ,,,,,yours is not the biggest hendrix collection, heheheh ,,and Im not including the stuff after the hendrix estate took over and put everything out themselves my collection is mostly 1970 into the 80s he was heavily boot-legged in the 70s i will look for castles made of sand live ,,,im not sure about live in concert but maybe live in the studio ill report back if i find something,,,if it exists i probably have it
From.brasil.souza 69 anos.sp.capital abc.fantastico valeu.meu primeiro vinil foi smart hits comprei na antiga loja Museu do disco na rua dom José de Barros centro.anos 70.
COL. RB, War Heroes. Then Loose Ends. The last. 2nd phase w/ punched in notes. Crash Landing, Midnight Lightning. I hate 9ttU. Some love that jazzy thing. Bootlegs. Ed Chalpin had Jimi's signature and released tons of crap. A guy who knew Jimi had Volume 1, 2 and 3. # 1 in 65 I believe had the beginnings of Stepping Stone. Recorded with a recorder like an old answering machine but some value. But now there are many releases from concerts that with technology have been salvaged beyond what old fans could have imagined. But the best are still the early posthumous releases and the big shows like Berley, Atlanta Pop and of course Woodstock and Monterey. Some studio is o.K. bud but as a 50 + fan of years I have to say that the 2 back to back releases of Voodoo Soup and first Rays are the best. I had the 4 LP Live and Unreleased which has some very cool studio outtakes, despite Dameon's ha-ha narration. Keep rocking.
I have all of this and more. Been collecting since 1968. To address some of the things you mentioned...there are several live versions of Little Wing available. As for the Miami Pop record you talked about.... Jimi did NOT burn a guitar at Miami. He only did that three times and Miami wasn't one of them. All Zappa got was a burned guitar body and neck from one of Jimi's roadies. The Hendrix/ Jim Morrison stuff you mentioned at the beginning has been around for decades. If you paid $50 for it you WAY over paid. Some of those knock off obscure label albums are sketchy as to how much actual Jimi is on there. I invite you to visit my Tribute to Jimi Hendrix UA-cam channel for more content. www.youtube.com/@stlrockn
I have a host on my own JIMI CD AND VINYL collection. peter adams youtubby, are you missing any? I did not see band of gypsys 2 made in 80's, so take a look and tell me if one could be added...you didn't show the albums very well, would rather you showed the covers or song list better than show your own self dog bed frame......have a few bootlegs but mostly those hendrix did or had made of him more or less officially or actual studio recordings made into records (war hero midnight nine to universe, etc), and that which yes is now on most of the Janie HEX family releases but not the live or strange recordings we often see..into the rainbow is another I dont have, not that I am looking except for Band of Gypsy 2.. also have a videos concerts and the box sets and the cassettes most all of them and really good book collection as well...Once a guy sold me 25 albums ($50) and away we go ...I hear Jimi is still playing somewhere and floating through the universIS which is true because we all need to know we never die, we just go on working on how we can live our life the way we want to.....I saw JHE otherwise known as G-SUS in 70 at NY POP festival his last east coast event 2 months before passing..If God exists, here he is..but then that means so are we all...FLY ON LITTLE WING
Crash Landing. Track "somewhere over the rainbow" is an overlooked underrated song. Guitar solo shows how brilliant and creative he was.

I’m only 17 and have never been near any hard copies of Hendrix… all digital. How much am I missing out on?
I'd like to have your live in Maui
