- This Hindu temple is in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. This mandir is made from different types of stone and sits upon acres of land in Lilburn, GA. It is open to visitors all of the time and is a relaxing place to check out!

The complex also has classrooms, a large assembly hall, a family center, and an exhibit with the key beliefs of Hinduism. I wasn't able to see that section of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir because it was closed when I went. When I am back in Atlanta, GA I will definitely visit this Hindu temple again. It is beautifully designed with many details.

Thats according to "SOMPURA SHASHTRA" ancient hindu civil engineering texts. Without any ferrous metals required.

The architectural style of the temple is called Maru-Gurjara and was developed in Western India (Gujarat, Rajasthan) during the classical era. This is one of the best preserved classical styles of South Asian temple architecture, passed on from generation to generation among the members of Sompura clans, whose main activity is construction of such temples. Unlike persianized Taj Mahal, this temple represents genuine South Asian architectural tradition.
It also follows Shikharbaddha Architecture of temple from ‘Silpa Sastra’ (ancient architecture scripture for buildings & temples). BAPS has around 50 Sikharbuddha temples around the world.
BAPS’s all temple are carved in Rajasthan. Rajasthan has still have thousands of Silpkar who excels in carving wood, stones & marble.
This temple is actually bigger, and has a gift shop, resturant, grocery store, and school!
Yes I know! The restaurant and school was closed and I wasn’t able to show that side of it. I saw the grocery store/gift shop.

for those who are wondering -BAPS is a swaminarayan sanstha who believes in peace and harmony and so am i. as a swaminarayan.
The temple outside India are built as a symbol for peace and harmony and not for a specific religion.

Akshardham Temple (inaguarted on 8th october, 2023) at Robinsville, New Jersey too, the second largest hindu temple in the world, you will be surprised to see the architecture and the scale of the land, with 10,000 murtis and idols, with the help of 12,500 volunters, and taking over 12 years to complete.
