How to Winterize a John Deere ExactApply Sprayer

After spraying season is over, it's critical to protect the investment you've made in owning a sprayer and winterize your equipment properly. This is especially important for sprayers equipped with John Deere ExactApply technology. When winterized correctly, your sprayer will be able to withstand sub-freezing temperatures and be ready to spray again next season.
The recommended steps to winterize your sprayer are as follows:
Step 1- Drain your solution system
Step 2- Drain and clean strainers
Step 3- Fill the rinse tank with water
Step 4- Run a rinse cycle
Use Erase (part number: PM433QT) and an antifoaming agent, such as Gundown (part number: PM739QT )
Step 5- Air purge the system
Step 6- Fill the rinse tank with antifreeze
Step 7- Run a rinse cycle with antifreeze
Step 8- Final system air purge
