Finn's Adoption Story

- Finn is visually impaired and was abandoned in China shortly after birth. But this July 2015 he was adopted by Beth and Ferrin. Travel through their adoption day and hear their thoughts.
This project was such a blessing to us and we are so privileged to have been a small part of it.

Finn is doing great! It's been almost a year since we've been home and he is speaking all English now, even with a southern accent! He is very excited because just this week he became an uncle. He loves school and has lots of friends. We are looking forward to seeing some of his friends and caretakers from China in a few weeks. His foster care program is having a reunion on July 30th in the US. He has been an amazing gift and blessing to our family. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us, prayed for us and supported us. To know Finn truly is to love him. He's a courageous little boy who no doubt will change the world one person at a time!

This has been my favorite video on all of UA-cam for the last few years. My boys are adopted. They are men now. This video of Finn touches my heart in a profound way. I tear up with happiness. I can feel God's love coming through. I am so happy to hear an update on the family. God bless!

Every time I watch this kind of adoption video(s) I cry because I can't imagine being adopted at such a young age and growing in a family far away from your biological family. It is so sad and heart-breaking to see these people are not responsible for their kids and had to gave them away for adoption. It's very emotional.
Such an amazing story. Finn looks like a sweet loving kid, and the couple is so special. I wish you a loving good life.

This is truly truly truly from the bottom of my heart the video that inspired us to pursue adoption. We are well on our way and it's because of Finn. This opened our eyes and our hearts to special needs and how utterly incredible ALL children are. Such a remarkable love story from start to finish. Finn is a gift from God. As a child I felt most of the time alone. I remember I used to see a face on the sky everytime I would lift my face. That face never left me. When I saw finn next to his mom and dad during the visit I felt the tenderness of his heart, the need of protection. I am already praying for Finn and his parents. God is wonderful

Something I wish someone had told me when we adopted our beautiful Korean daughter, is pray about rejection. It was our experience that as she became an adult that this manifested! Our daughter was seven and I wished I had asked God to catch her up on all she missed before she came. Fortunately her awesome husband took over those areas.
This gives me so much hope and faith and love that beautiful thing still exist in this crazy crazy world we live in dealing with school shootings and people disappearing and just horrible things happening you know in the media and Ukraine the war but when I see a video like this it restores my humanity and for everybody else I’m sure it’s just amazing God bless you I hope he’s doing well take care
