Honestly...I am older. Never thought I would root for love again, especially for a fictive couple...but this show just hit me like a bazooka; a bazooka aimed at my own heart's memory and choices left unacted upon. I realized, in just the passed couple of days that, the power of television (and film) IS the power of myth: of those stories, those loves and losses that leave their mark deep, deep within all of us individually and collectively...at rest, just waiting to be awakened. I want so badly for these two to connect. I want so badly for these two to give in and let whatever comes come without reserve. Your characterization here is a near perfect rendition. (Imperfection is the mark of humanity and the highest compliment.) Many many thanks (I just watched rewatched all five seasons to today December 2022.

Perfectly said.! It's been a long time ⌛️ since I have seen a series that waiting for them this long is like an old ❤️ love story stretched out accordely perfect. Remind me of Linda Hamiltons show back in the 80s series Bueaty and the Beast .
@@patmatull8793 Same, except it reminds me of watching Days of our Lives in the 80s…not that Strike is like a soap opera, but just that I remember waiting ages and ages for couples to even kiss back then and it was so much more magical when it was paced slowly like that! I think that’s what’s missing from most shows now.
I honestly have never loved a tv couple more than this and I think this video is brilliant. ❤

I love how the resolution of this storyline, that clearly matters to all the readers and viewers, isn't coming quickly. I don't know how many books there are to this story but hopefully many more, without a conclusion to this evidently dysfunctional love story.
