Always a fine-looking woman. But I'm not a fan of her singing. To me she often sounds like she's constipated or singing through clenched jaws. (Your mileage may vary.) She can't belt 'em out. She's definitely a product of the video age. You can be the best singer in the world but if you're not photogenic you won't have a career. On the other hand if you're extremely photogenic you can have a successful career despite being only marginally talented.
I think it was also the songwriting collaboration with her ex husband Mutt. Together they wrote a string of really catchy pop hits, and even if the singing wasn't the world's best, they are still fun to listen to.
