And that's what the youngins don't understand. It's that these guys made phenomenal beats by using just these simple tools. If it sounded good then it was a good beat. There wasn't any mastering or fl studio back in the day. It was just recording shit hoping that you got it set up the way you thought it would be and that's how some of these beats sound so weird.
