In today's video, we will take a short walk through Krameramtsstuben, famous apartments built in 1676. They are located at 10 Krayenkamp Street, and represent the homes of the seventeenth century, here lived members of the middle class of that time. The Krameramt organization built these apartments for the widows of the deceased merchants, who were members of this organization.
Years later, these townhouses received elderly people until 1974, when the Hamburg History Museum took them over, preserved them, furnished them and today you can visit one of them inside.
