she met him lol, they were probably doing other scenes then and she was probably there, i’m sure there some photos of it, but i don’t think she would have missed it. plus the cast said how sometimes they would just come to set to see eachother
@@elizabethgidney3768 um Andi Mack ended production on December 2018 and HSMTMTS started production on February 2019 - June 30, 2019 so no she wasn't filming Andi Mack and she got to see him she was just not on the episode bcuz her character was not on this Episode but she was there in the BTS

EJ is bi, but isn't "out" (maybe because his family wouldn't approve? we haven't met his parents. and East High is in Utah which is fairly conservative)
In season 2 I would not be surprised if EJ and Carlos get closer and Carlos helps EJ embrace his "true self"
