We have waited 30 odd years and could we see Hitotsu become a complete champion i dont think he will be winning Lightning Stakes but he's won both Derby's, he won the Aust Gunieas first up off a Derby campaign I can't wait to see him in open company at WFA over 2000m plus, he could even be good enough to win the Caulfield and Melb Cup double, the way hrs trained, they space his runs so that would be perfect but id like to see a horse in my life time win the Cox Plate Cups Double in the one prep, the closest we might hsve come too was Northerly had he ran in the Melb Cup but after carrying 58kgs in the Caulfield Cup too this day a 2kg penalty into the Melb Cup was very unfair considering he only won the Caulfield Cup by a bit under half a length. But glad he never ran him as that was the year Media Puzzle won and I dont think he would have beaten Media Puzzle with 55kgs and the way it worked out with Ollie winning just after the death of his brother, was the best moment in racing history
