You caught some really beautiful shots of some of my favorite spots in the city. I'm an American backpacker that lived there for four months and it has a special place in my heart. I fell in love in Brisbane. ..you can say
I’m so glad you managed to capture just how amazing Brisbane can look. I’ve got the same problem as I go head into the city (Southbank in particular) every couple of weekends, so I’m completely used to it. Was nice seeing my home in a completely different way ❤️ love your content, keep doing what you’re doing 👍🏻
Magic city. Most livable in Australia. Love Melbourne. Lived in the best suburbs in Sydney for 25 years. Had a great business at Bondi Beach. Brisbane wins Melbourne second Sydney completely lost the plot.
John Douglas i have explored brisbane, maybe it's because when you see it everyday it becomes ordinary, it's just that the place looks different in the video
Southbank in Brisbane is gorgeous! I'm a Melbournian & I visited there for the first time 2 weeks ago. We spent a whole day at Southbank. We swam for free, we rode on the City Hopper boat along the Brisbane river for over an hour for free, we walked through lush gardens and the temple, we both went on the Brisbane Wheel with a groupon deal for only $23 for both of us, we dined in a busy, vibrant restaurant. Try doing that in Melbourne. Brisbane makes Melbourne's Southbank/Docklands area look like a depressing, grey, expensive sh*thole. Try going on the Melbourne Star wheel for $20 each! It's more like $30 each and it's at the arse end of Melbourne!
Unfortunately Brisbane is Australias most under rated city. I live in Brisbane and I absolutely love it here. I use to live in Melbourne. But I find it's a way better life style here.
I agree. I live in Melbourne and love it for different things, but Brisbane is so nice! I spent last July there and the weather was incredible. July in Melbourne is absolute sh*t - I hate that.
So I just turned 19 and I have been living in England for 1 year now. But until I was 18 I lived in Brisbane. Don't get me wrong, I love England so much! But watching this video reminds me of how much I loved Brisbane and makes me really homesick as Southbank was my favourite place to go with friends and family. Great video and beautifully done!
Brisbane is nice but a little dull . . . .its not a bad thing to acknowledge that. We dont really have any particularly memorable attractions. Southbank is . . .nice, the museums are okay but overall its livable but dull. Having said all that, i love coming home to it.
it’s crazy to see my city like this !!! this video is beautifully made !! kinda makes me fall in love with brisbane hehe (crazy for someone who’s lived here my entire life how wild)
I was so surprised with the vibe in bne....was only there for one night and it blew me away. Southbank, the pools and walk through the flowering vines and great restaurants was a great way to enjoy the evening. Great video!!
Love to watch other Aussie vloggers! Brisbane is also my hometown :) I completely understand the feeling of how a hometown can seem boring and uninteresting to film but you did well! , only thing i would say is about your drone. Do you use the CASA app "Can I Fly There" ? because those first few drone scenes were flown in a no fly zone as its within the approach path for Helicopters accessing the Mater hospital, I only point it out because CASA tried to fine me $10,000 the other month as i flew to close to the police HQ in Brisbane apparently. Don't want my fellow youtuber and dronie to get fined!
Great video of our home town. I have recently started following your channel, it's been great to see how your vlog's have progressed over the year, amazing.... I particularly like you series on Japan and your expatriate life in Singapore. Your video edits are a joy to watch. Keep up the good work.
great video... Im an American living in Brisbane for 3 years now... Kangaroo point is one of my favorite places to live !!!! Moving to Airlie later this year
just found this video.. and I love it !! thanx for that ! I've been to Australia and especially Brisbane a few times over the last years cause I have family and friends there (I'm from Germany). you guys are so lucky to call this your home ! 😃 I love everything in brissie.. can't wait to get back and maybe stay there for more than just a few weeks.. 😘
Many times ago I have been to Australia! I dream to come back one day... I like that you haven’t snow and it is very comfortable to live in. You are very lucky to born in Australia! If I come back one day for a trip I will enjoy every brief and every moment spending there. Thanks for your video.
Great footage, beautiful day to film! You did a wonderful job editing this vlog, from the video to the music it is put together very well. Thanks for the tour! :)
I'm from NZ but Australia is such a beautiful place, Brisbane looks great. I've only been to Queensland, Cairns (when I was 12 y/o), Adelaide and the Gold Coast.
Hello Hannah, I love your introduction, I also feel the same about Montreal, my hometown, to me it's just a normal, sometimes boring, dirty city but to the tourists, it's so exotic and everybody loves it !
I’m from Canada and to me brisbane isn’t normal at all so I think it’s just cause you grew up in it. Like to me I can’t believe there’s a city that’s actually hot all year and never snows and has a beach in it and you guys all have your cute Aussie accents.
I am from Brisbane I know exactly where you are and also my nan worked in the city and one day she took me to the hole of South Bank and the city. The cool thing is that I know where you were every time you show stuff. My nan worked in the small greenish behind the big blue one. I agree that South Bank is really good I also like the pool at South Bank.
I hate what Southbank has become now. The parks are now ONLY for kids not adults and you can't use them unless you have a kid. Back when I was thirteen and fourteen years old, the parks were open to ALL ages through till 100 even it was amazing and now that doesn't happen.
Australia has one of the most ancient and majestic cultures ever. Can't understand why white Australia, sometimes more than often forgets about that culture. I appreciate it and I'm from New Zealand.
I know this comment is from 5 years ago. I recently came across this video. To be honest I don't believe it does (with regards to the white Australia comment forgetting about the Indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture). Some of the comments from the vlogger come off as flippant and dismissive with regards to "no culture" and other things mentioned in the video. Either they themselves were not very versed at the time or just not interested. This isn't conducive to Australians as a whole. To say Australia has no culture in the clip is kind of a ridiculous comment. As you stated aside from the Indigenous culture there is a melting pot of multiple cultures that make up Australia. And we have multiple never ending opportunities to experience them at local, wider community and National levels.
Nice video.Did you know that the Nepalese pavilion still stands there as a reminder of the World Expo in 1988, the whole site of Southbank became parklands afterwards. I was there! It put Brisbane on the map as a place to visit.
I once lived in Brissy. South Bank is an excellent spot. I've been up on that once. Took my eldest who was little at the time. The pan cake place in the old church in Brissy is good to eat at.
Great video on Brisbane, when we have visitors we take them out to one of the many great restaurants there, Grey night life. Unfortunately that ends the best parts of Brisbane. Warning do not walk through any parks after dusk. It’s dangerous, you will be assaulted and robbed for your phone or anything, juvenile crime is out of control in Brisbane after hours.
They added a dozen new toilets and the toilets next to the swimming pool are way too small anyway. Although they get cleaned regularly now. But they built the main bathroom at the souvenir store specifically for changing
Yay, good to see you in Australia, I am here too :) I am also going to Brisbane in a couple of weeks, so thanks for sharing this video :) Safe travels!
Love Brisbane was the first place I lived when moving to Australia and after moving to Perth I realize that Brisi was dozen times better, now I move back here with my wife and she loves it too.
I have to agree that south bank isn't the only thing to do in Brisbane.I don't think i will ever stop discovering new stuff! great video CurrentlyHannah. cheers Gizmo
Brisbane was the first city in the world to have electric municipal street lighting. First town pipped them at the post, and that was Thargomindah using an artesian bore driven turbine.
Wow, it's nice to see some Australian content creators doing what they love. I'm Australian and Brisbane city is about a forty five minute drive from where I live. Get out there and do want you want!
I lived in rural new south wales for a while and yeah the roos pop out at daybreak in droves and driving to our jobsite in the ute down the country roads was quite dangerous
Thank you for your video. Already 2 weeks in Brisbane for work, I asked my friends where to go what to do in Brisbane, no one knows. Seems it is not very popular for Malaysian. I will go to South Bank based on this video! Most scary things about Australia is where to park you car.
I am from Brisbane too! and i recognise that parking spot at the beginning of the video me and my dad used to ride starting there and just too wherever and sometimes over that bridge
I never get tired of seeing you and Yoshi in video together, such a perfect couple for your perfect videos 😁 Thanks again for your hard work behind the scenes, editing this video. Love it.
Recently found your channel and really enjoy your videos. Your editing, drone footage, music, visuals, is fantastic. Looking forward to your vlog continuing in Tokyo. Keep up the great work!
They're such a good looking couple! Brisbane looks dope af! Trust me, coming from a town where there is nothing you'll appreciate this waaaay more lol I should have left home a long as time ago.
I'm from Brazil and I've been living in Brisbane for 1 month now and yeah it's very nice city probably you are just used to and you forgot how amazing it is haha
Thats southbank 😍 that walk path is so beautiful and the lagoon is awesome there's also one in redcliffe which is were I'm located 😍 great place to be so much to see

Heyyyy
Have been to Brisbane earlier this year. It is by FAR my favourite city I have ever been to. It's just perfect!
You caught some really beautiful shots of some of my favorite spots in the city. I'm an American backpacker that lived there for four months and it has a special place in my heart. I fell in love in Brisbane. ..you can say

Love Melbourne. Lived in the best suburbs in Sydney for 25 years. Had a great business at
Bondi Beach. Brisbane wins Melbourne second Sydney completely lost the plot.
We have better weather here in Queensland.
i live in brisbane but your video made it look like a completely different place 👍
you're not putting effort in then :P
John Douglas sorry 😅
get out there and explore, there is a LOT to do and see in Brisbane. we have thousands of parks and multiple garden parks and so much else.
John Douglas i have explored brisbane, maybe it's because when you see it everyday it becomes ordinary, it's just that the place looks different in the video
you've seen all the parks, all the trails, all the everything? or you just mean thee actual part?
i'm from New york, Australia looks beautiful

@Imagine GUYS under rated. Not underaged idiot
@Imagine GUYS no i didnt. It's been the same since i wrote it. Maybe you read it wrong

Okay but this video made me appreciate the uniqueness of my home city again :) Such a great video, and its great to find another Brisbane vlogger!
I was so surprised with the vibe in bne....was only there for one night and it blew me away. Southbank, the pools and walk through the flowering vines and great restaurants was a great way to enjoy the evening. Great video!!

Thought you were having a go, but yep...choppers on the hour around there!
Brisbane is a C+ - B- (above average) rated city. It has a handy location between Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast which is a big plus in its favor.
As someone who lives near Southbank it’s nice too see how special and blessed I am to live here.
I’m also from Brisbane. Just subscribed :)
Weird seeing her so close to my house
show me Brisbane
Samee
Yeah, it's so crazy hey?
Ohhh!South bank!

She made it look 10 times better than it actually is
Haha!!
Thanks for sharing, visited about 13 years ago, Bringing back some good memories with my cousins that live there
The sound track, I mean the background music is so cool. And obviously you guys are spontaneous.
so nice to see brissy in a video! its rare that you get to see your home town on youtube!
I am glad there is someone else who remembers when the flower wall thing was built :)
I’m from the sunny coast and you’ve actually made Brisbane look incredible.
Seeing Brisbane in a vlog is so weird to see since I live here. But it just reminds me how beautiful it is and how lucky I am.
Gold Coast is better than Brisbane. Sorry Brissy is a boring place
Cheers I'm off to Brisbane soon. So good to see what is in Brisbane
as someone who lives in bris this was really trippy to watch XD
I’ve grown up in brissy too, and I’m so glad to see a vlog I can identify with the places! I love this!!!
Great video. Would you prefer to live in Vancouver Canada or Brisbane?
just found this video.. and I love it !! thanx for that ! I've been to Australia and especially Brisbane a few times over the last years cause I have family and friends there (I'm from Germany). you guys are so lucky to call this your home ! 😃 I love everything in brissie.. can't wait to get back and maybe stay there for more than just a few weeks.. 😘

I went to Brisbane on holiday last year!!!I love Brisbane just falling love for that, can't wait to go back!!!
I’m From Bristol UK and worked with a girl from Brisbane but visited Brisbane in 2019 it was beautiful just like she said
To everyone who lives in Brisbane it’s just a thing a place we go but to everyone else it’s amazing and cool.

Hans Hubner stfu, this is why people stereotype Australians to be racist.
Damn you're everywhere

South bank is like the only place to go if you dnt drive though. If you do though there is so much to explore
So weird seeing someone else vlog in Brisbane! Love seeing it from your perspective! Brisbane has definitely come a long way in the last few years 💕
They added a dozen new toilets and the toilets next to the swimming pool are way too small anyway. Although they get cleaned regularly now. But they built the main bathroom at the souvenir store specifically for changing
So glad I came across your video!! Loved it
Yay, good to see you in Australia, I am here too :) I am also going to Brisbane in a couple of weeks, so thanks for sharing this video :) Safe travels!
what a perfectly shitty time to be here in Brissie haha it's humid, hot and shit. YAY!
Brisbaneeeeee!!!! South Bank is amazing especially with their newly renovated man-made pool which is not that new anymore.
Ey another brissy! Glad that Brisbane is being shown for how exciting and beautiful it is.
brings back memories of my uni days in brisbane and that's 1999!! thanks Hannah!
Love Brisbane was the first place I lived when moving to Australia and after moving to Perth I realize that Brisi was dozen times better, now I move back here with my wife and she loves it too.
In Sydney we don’t need to build beaches on a polluted muddy backwater.
I have to agree that south bank isn't the only thing to do in Brisbane.I don't think i will ever stop discovering new stuff!
great video CurrentlyHannah.
cheers Gizmo
That Nepalese Pagoda was built for Brisbane Expo in 1988...so it's been there a long time.
Brisbane was the first city in the world to have electric municipal street lighting. First town pipped them at the post, and that was Thargomindah using an artesian bore driven turbine.
I love Southbank, but I totally agree. When you go somewhere a lot, you feel theres nothing to do/film!
Wow, it's nice to see some Australian content creators doing what they love. I'm Australian and Brisbane city is about a forty five minute drive from where I live. Get out there and do want you want!

Yay this is home and we have so much to see and do hear it’s amazing people you will love it ......guaranteed. ♥️
Thank you for your video. Already 2 weeks in Brisbane for work, I asked my friends where to go what to do in Brisbane, no one knows. Seems it is not very popular for Malaysian.
I will go to South Bank based on this video!
Most scary things about Australia is where to park you car.
I struggle to make content on the GC too so I feel you! But the colour grading & editing on this was ace!
Miss brisbane! And i think eat street could be added to that list too? Its just so much fun and soooo pretty 😍
I am from Brisbane too! and i recognise that parking spot at the beginning of the video me and my dad used to ride starting there and just too wherever and sometimes over that bridge
I go to southbank at least twice a week so I'm very desensitised. It's nice to see it from a new perspective again.
This is the video I have been looking for that put beautiful Australia into colors
Moving to Brisbane thanks for the video!
I wanna spend some time in Brisbane. Looks like a beautiful city. I’m from Sydney
South bank is better at night imo, the lights of the city is a great contrast to the relaxed South bank
I never get tired of seeing you and Yoshi in video together, such a perfect couple for your perfect videos 😁 Thanks again for your hard work behind the scenes, editing this video. Love it.
It’s a bloody mission getting parking near southbank
Recently found your channel and really enjoy your videos. Your editing, drone footage, music, visuals, is fantastic. Looking forward to your vlog continuing in Tokyo. Keep up the great work!
So glad you like it! I'm looking forward to my videos in Tokyo too 😝
Yeah wouldn’t call south bank a beach but it is definitely a nice place
nice video , thank-you👍 30 years ago , i lived in Brisbane ,really good place😀
You make our city look so aesthetic hahahaha
They're such a good looking couple! Brisbane looks dope af! Trust me, coming from a town where there is nothing you'll appreciate this waaaay more lol I should have left home a long as time ago.
Brisbane is such a beautiful city, I feel like moving to Brisbane. Thanks for the vlog. Lotsa luv from india. ❤️❤️
Looks very nice, definitely on my list !
I'm from Brazil and I've been living in Brisbane for 1 month now and yeah it's very nice city probably you are just used to and you forgot how amazing it is haha
I think I might move to Brisbane when I finish my study in New Zealand next year
Southbank is the best place to visit in Brisbane. I went there almost every day in my vacation.
Thats southbank 😍 that walk path is so beautiful and the lagoon is awesome there's also one in redcliffe which is were I'm located 😍 great place to be so much to see
I’m located in Brissy, Southbank is a beautiful spot
Oh yeah this video was great 👌 😂 thanks Hannah
Haha, I've been on that beach in the city. It is pretty awesome.
i love Brisbon ! need to spend my life time with brisbon :)
so fun, especially with the beautiful Hannah, keep up the good content!
