Clear mind jewelry: casting video • Lost Wax and Lost Resi...
⭕️Summary:
In this video I go over how to make grillz in a step by step process. This video will go through each step, step 1 being spru attachment to your wax model. Then investing the models in side the flask with a cellulose liner to prevent shrinkage, step three will cover the burnout process which will get us prepared for the casting process. In step 4 when I go over all the information you’ll need to prepare your metal to get ready for casting and how to properly find how much metal you’ll need for casting your specific piece. And finally step 5 will be the quenching and cleaning which is fairly simple. All information for the things you need will be listed above for your convience. I hope this video helped and if it did -lease drop a like, share, and comment!!

Thank you so much for making this video fam! You don't even know, I was doing my first investment casting the other day. I was searching for how much water to use for DAYS! Even the casting investment only has a wax burnout schedule, and not how much grams to the dimensions of flask. Incredible fucking video, thanks for all the help. I've only ever waxed up grillz and sent them to get casted, but I love smelting it IS therapeutic. But now I'm feelin to be a manufacturer. Appreciate the real ones like you, who help the ambitious ones like me get in the game. ❤
That’s what’s up bro! Glad I can help out, those little details are forever needed and no one communicates them well in my opinion 🙏🏾🙏🏾 glad everything is getting to where it needs to be for you.
Most likely one of the best tutorials on youtube. apperieciate it man
I like how you are very detailed I’ve had an obsession with grills for a long time and never thought about making them until now! I’ll be tuning in for more
I hope you’re able to go far with it!
been doing research for like a month...you explained it the best... thank you
Ofc bro. I got the whole play list for you

Just came to thank you for giving most of us a job frfr
Damn bro this means a lot! Love sharing the wealth 👌🏾
You the 🐐 💣🙏🏼
The borax acid also helps the metal from sticking to the crucible
Very nice video 😊
Hii, I was wondering what gauge you ordered for the sprew attachement?
I love you’re video’s and I want to start a grillz business without any experience, so you really helped me a lot al the way from the Netherlands! ✨ Thankyou 😊
How do you make an invisible set grill I’ve been trying to figure that out the longest
Great video. I just got my whole seller. I’m still confused with the dwt and pricing. I put in like 35 dwt and the price seems high. Not sure if I’m doing it right
“Obviously I’m Not White” Took Me Out Lmaoo 😂😂 Great Video !
Super goated for this
Appreciate you bro
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
We need a diamond setting video asap gang💯
Dope i video so for casting and adding diamonds etc we hand over to a jeweler right? Also theyll just add the diamonds we buy wholesale for us right is there anything we show them like pics ? Fire video tho🔥
Can I use parchment paper instead of the liner paper?
is there any way to cast from home? also how much would you say it costs you per grill, and how much did it cost you to get started from home? basically how much money do i need to start this myself lol
😮💨🙌🏻
where do you go to school at for this ? please let me know
Amazing, what type of school did you attend? I'm in California.
Hey bro I like your vids , just wondering to what point do I hand it over to a jeweller for them to cast it? If I’m assuming correctly it would be after I put the sprus on? Thank you brother
Pretty much. A lot of times tho they may even ask you not to put the spurs on because it may affect how they add it to their tree.
Thanks for the support btw man!
@@DayTodayMarvthat’s calmmm, fr thank you tho . Was gonna pay 320 for a course but your stuff is free . I fw you
@@catalinaboo4609 NP man glad I’ve been able to help on your creative flow a bit.
How many grams did you use
Hi bro, your video is the best, im spanish and i dont understand well some things, i want to make my own grillz following ur steps, i have some questions.. whats dwt? And rubber? And CBW? 😅 i have more questions but like that its good, saludos bro!
"DWT" es una unidad de medida que la mayoría de los joyeros utilizan para medir metales preciosos. significa "pennyweight". “Caucho” es el material de caucho. y no estoy seguro de qué es CBW jaja, me estoy quedando en blanco para eso.
What kind of yellow dental metal can i use for a gold look but cheaper?
If you’re trying to stay in the “dental” range 9k gold would be best option and cheapest. If you’re trying to go in the art range: silver then gold plate.
Do you have to plate over white gold when making a white gold grill
No sirr, white gold is an alloy between gold and other metals such as palladium, nickel, platinum, etc. Those metals give the gold alloy its white color
Hey bro I hope you can help me out, I’ve been making grillz for a month now but the ones I make they don’t reach the gum they are way to small, how much should I put the gums down when I have the stone mold?
You should do about 1-2mm, I’m not sure how to describe the depth other than that honestly 😬😬. Try to prep the video, maybe you can freeze frame try to mimick as much as possible
Are the spru compulsory? I'm new grillz maker but I don't add sprus
Well…I’ve never seen anyone not use sprus if they’re doing the lost wax casting method. Maybe it’s possible in another method but I’ve never seen it done.
What is an alternative to get air bubbles out without having that machine
Technically you can use a vibrating table the same you use for alginate from my previous video. But it still won’t get nearly as many bubbles out as the vacuum chamber
so what do you do with the metal that u cut off that was the spures???
Repurpose them melt down and use it for the next cast.
I was thinking about going to that school… would you recommend?
If you’re more of a hands-on person, I think that would be a good idea.
what is that thing you use to melt the wax down and also where can i find that base you called the ‘nipple’😂
lol thats a wax pen. just updated to description with everything youll need.
So my vacuum machine struggle to reach 25 psi
Are the oil levels good?
which thickness wax are u using?
20 gauge normally
@@jasminewood5358 thankyou, i appreciate it
You forgot to tell everyone that the electric bill is gonna be super high
lol not too crazy if you plan your casting days to once or twice a week 😂. If you doin more than that use candles during the week 😂
No it dont
It's a propane/acetylene torch I think (green/red) so you just gotta buy the tanks and they'll last a MINUTE. Electric kilns will use a little juice but it's comparable to a oven so you'll be aight
15:29 he's using a oxyacetylene torch not propane I'm a welder i use these all the time to cut through steel LOL
Misuse of words on my part meant oxygen 🙏🏾 thanks
Is there a school you went too for this?
YESSIIIRR went to american school of jewelry in sunrise. But you can go to any school they normally have some course related to grillz. Best places to look would be in the jewelry district in your city!
Much appreciated!!! So does the schools or courses teach Grillz specifically or does is have to be a Jewelry course for all jewelry?
That school specifically has different courses in the jewelry niche that cater to what you want to learn. So grillz, chains, rings/wedding bands, etc.
Where was that school and how long? Again much appreciated for the responses also!!
I think it might just be cheaper me to buy a grill that equipment looks expensive 😂
😂😂😂
Lemme get some
Insta dm @brazlexbespoke ✨🙏🏾
I can see the American School of Jewelry classroom in your videos, I also took this class, Eddie was the best jewelry instructor.
!! Yes he was!
He said don’t put the wax in the direct middle and out it directly in the middle 🤦🏽♂️
Learn from my mistakes
How am I suppose to do this at home lol
Believe in yo self, lol I do it
@@DayTodayMarv but ima brokie n @ home equipment is 2k 🥲 trying tho 🙏🏽
