- New Mexico sheep shearing, at the New Mexico county fair, My friends Sue and Lloyd Maness were demoing sheep shearing. Their Shearer is Pat Metendraz from Las Vagas New Mexico who has 38 years experience in shearing and also teaches shearing schools. He has 22 years as a extension agent and 8 years as lines tech specialist. Sue and Lloyd have been raising wool sheep for over 20 years and do demos all around New Mexico. They are owners of Richards Ranch of Corona New Mexico.

what do you do when you've finshed and realize that YOU cut and nickeed the sheep ... and they're bleeding allll overr the place?! if you slow down and go carefully, you might not cut them, or cut them so bad. animals still experience pain. don't hurt them.. be more careful.

Slow down? In Australia, the shearers can shear a sheep in under a minute in most cases or well over 150 each perday. He's too slow haha

Why not wear latex gloves while Shearing these animals for your safety and the animal safety/sanitation also spray the animals right after cause some get nipped and bleed so unsanitary😎😌
