Jungle joystick🔥❤
I've watched this video 3 or 4 times already and probably will watch it every day until the Sample Drum arrives....beyond excited to put this in my rack, great work!
And when it arrived?.......
@@t3l3phasicworksh0p it's been in my rack ever since. Amazing device, I use it on my tracks often. Sequencing sliced up loops and running them through effects is one of my favorite techniques.
Same here, ordered it right away 😂
amazing machine, like a little modular octatrack. Oh! and the graphics for FX section is on top level!
Wow! WOW! I sat there staring at my smartphone and found my jaw dropped by the end of the video. Watched the video again and the same thing happened to my face. This is the most insane electronically chopped sound I've ever heard! Crazy! I understood in a flash why Erica Synths is so famous among Modular fans...
This module is amazing. Another great tool from Erica Synths
Absolutely bonkers. I know I'm going to need more modulation sources for this!
Best eurorack sampler I've used by far. Really want a second.
my cats loved this demo
birthday fun here we come! super excited about this one.
Amen!
oh gimmie a break ...
Venetian Snares is like :: how daaaare U !
Jaw dropped. This is so much more than I expected.
excellent module, erica synths amazing company
Looks like a great companion for modules like the Morphagene. Right now I have a Mporphagene, Phonogene, Radio Music and Clouds (Monsoon) in my system. I frequently feed the sampling modules, but especially the PGene with the Radio Music. They just work well together for some reason. I can see this module thriving in my system, especially after I add a Nebulae v2. I do a lot of ambient music that is mostly beat-less. This looks like a wonderful module for drums, but it also looks like a wonderful module for ambient music.
Looks incredibly useful
A lot of drum n bass type stuff here. Nice!
Super fun, actually that makes a lot of sense
God damn it. It looks IMPRESSIVE!
sold! looks very similar to what I do with the blackbox slicing but with more knobs & fx
Hyvää syntikka Musaa.
mine arrives tomorrow. great bit of kit for someone like me who doesn't have many or want many modules, instead several powerful and budget friendly ones. (for what all this does, I still count it as budget)
Craziest thing!!!!!!! Just WOOOW!!!
Awesome module, cool graphics on the effects. This could possibly double up or should I say, quintuple up as an Oscilloscope it seems.
Wow! Impressive!
I use it all the time it’s a good module, but please Erica Synths make one with more cv’s in!
I mainly use it to slice up drum loops and throw them around in various ways. One cv is for the reset so theres only two left to play with.
totally rad!
It reminds me of a miniature Octatrack
Really like the sample drum. What is also cool, are the 3 x mini oscilloscopes in CV Menu
Oh. Em. Gee..... NEED this in my life
Sick! A source for amen breaks in eurorack!
Well this is on my list
very very cool
At 4:40 that modulation looked sick
Really cool. It'd be nice to understand a bit more what this was hooked up to during this vid though
quality module
oh my godddd 😍
Wow wow wee wow
Cool styles, and is there a forward reverse return playback happening at points?
Fuuckn dope
sugar spice and everything nice
I bought two.
I wish this was a standalone desktop unit.
I know the manual says mono samples but is it possible to get stereo in this by, say, loading the left and right channels of a sample and playing them at the same time?
you can sum" a Stereo track to Mono in any DAW or audio editor... have fun :)
I hope / want it bug free , my drum sequencer is driving me nuts !
goddamn!
its possible more than 1 fx per channel ?
This looks and sounds amaaaaaazing the answer to our problems, but how tight is the playback (if you’re also using external drums) thanks! Rock on
Gregorio Soave About 1ms!
Erica Synths sounds greaaaaat, thank you
Hot damn that first jam made me go change my undies.
Pretty hands
Cool shit. Is that screen as big as Octa screen ? 🤪
Could you tell me the brand of that stackable cable you’re using in the Trig A input? Doesn’t look like Tip Top... (or maybe it is)
i'll take 10!!!!!!!
AaahhhhHhhhhhhhMen breaks
Is it possible to erase or edit the data written on the sd card? What if the data is full?
I think that pico drum could manage data on a computer.
I want you to tell me.
This seems to remain in tempo despite the fact the slices seem to be chopped up all over the place-- how is that happening?
Triggers, syncing, modulation, clocks... lots of ways to keep things on time.
how do you sequence this? do you trigger the different slices with 1 v/oct?
In the first jam its set to advance to a random slice with every new trigger, but you can also control the slice selection with CV.
@@EricaSynths spicy
@@EricaSynths Is the slice cv v/oct? Because I have the 4ms sts and the sample cv is certainly not, which doesnt work too well with the beatstep pro, because you cant play the samples on the pads or on a keyboard.
I think you should do a stand alone sampler.
Can you pre-slice the samples with wav file markers or some other way (REX files?)
Yes, Sample Drum reads marker points from wav files.
@@EricaSynths Thanks! This is an excellent module design
Are we gonna see a dual drive demo too?
goobyplsIW didn’t they do one ?
goobyplsIW Yes!
So nice! Could you please the explain the process for recording into the module? Could one of the CV inputs also accept a clock to synchronize the recording so you could use it almost like a looper that could then instantaneously playback a sliced up loop?
similar question, if you could demo, say, a drum machine going through it in real-time, what are the options for live-audio vs. stored-samples?
Recording is more an utility so no live recording.
Hi ! Can you help me please ? Will this module fit in your Pico Case ? I want to buy it. Thanks!
Yes, Sample Drum will fit into the Pico case!
what sequencer was used to drive this?
Erica Drum Sequencer!
Wwwwwwo
Omfg
Could I use it as standalone sampler with own samples with any hardware? Thanks
Hey want to buy!!! But i have on Question: If i sample a 120 bpm loop and i trigger it with 140 bpm will it sound clipped? Or is there a way to avoid clipped sound?
clipped sound! human race DOOMZED :O put brain in loop ...
is there an artist who makes this kind of music?
DOS MD squarepusher , apex twin , search Warp label and Ninja tune label
@@H4NDCRAFTED thank you mista
So many. Venetian snares is amazing. Afx and square pusher already mentioned. Dwaalicht, cyrus rex, the flashbulb, so many more
dear kids, aphex twin did all this with normal oldschool hardware samplers ;-)
Would love to know how, I've been fooling around with MPCs for years and never got close :)
@@timtimminz he did it with hardweare rack ones mpc where made to seqence rack samplers
I almost promise afx has a few of these now though
