It’s unfortunate that mental health is grossly underfunded by the government and there are also limited health professionals as psychologists & psychiatrists. I have struggled with depression and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder that I recall began with panic attacks at age 9yrs. I suffered for years not knowing what was happening and 2 of My cousins acquired seizures due to PTSD because of the traumas they experienced in their childhood. I’m studying a fast track undergraduate to masters degree in public health with a focus in mental health because it’s a public health crisis in our society that so many people are suffering silently.
It saddens me when christians also succumb to things like depression. ''When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19. This is the verse that keeps me going. Do not be afraid to pray for anything and everything. Kama ni pesa mwabie categorically 'God give me money and alot of money because i need it'. God heal my parents, God give me food for todays and good food,etc etc. Transfer all those thoughts and fears into prayer. Pray also without ceasing when enemy attack is high, and i mean every hour let your brain remain in prayer, praise and worship mode. In this time of equinox i told God 'save us from uquinox'. And boom clouds formed such that the heat has been reduced greatly.
Hopefully that hujawai kujikuta in a situation whereby you see the end of a tunnel.when your things are running smoothly you might not understand how waves and tides shakes the earth
