Well, I finally figured it out! Auto updates actually work. But there are "buts" :( Needless to say that you have to perform all the "standard" procedures first, such as: checking the options in Google Play Store (auto-updates option, network), cleaning the cash, uninstalling updates etc. And if none of them worked for you so that could be the answer: First of all, I don't know why they did it (in Google) but you have to fulfill two main conditions: phone must be connected to a charger and also to the Internet (cellular or WIFI doesn't matter, but check what option did you pick in Google Play Store) . And technically that's it! It DOSEN'T matter how many "battery" percent you have at that moment. Your phone could be fully charged or just about passing the mark of 9 percent, it doesn't matter. What matters is that status of your battery is charging or connected to a charger. (connected to A/C) . And now you have to wait for the certain time! What time could it be? I really don't know. I guess we have to ask Google about it. I tried to leave my fully charged unplugged phone for the night, it took 0% of my battery for my sleep (9 hours)! I have decent phone :) Nothing happened :( After few experiments, I have finally found "my time". Now it happens every night (auto-updates ;) ) when I go to sleep and place my phone on charging station, it shows me in the morning that it performed the updates just in 2:00 AM !!. For me it's Mountain Daylight Time zone. I have BLACKVIEW BL6000 Pro, which has barely clean Android 11 with Google Play system update on August 1, 2023. It auto-updates only every night, I charge my phone only at night. But I also tried to connect it to charger at different time of the day and nothing happened :(
