Hooxi really played well, he wasn’t getting doughnuts, he was very close to a 1.0 rating as the igl and he had many influential early round kills that set up the boys. Secondly even in the finals, Niko wasn’t the MVP but he didn’t choke. Anyone who knows Niko’s history or has seen how tilted he gets in finals normally will know just having Niko at his average being solid for a kill and a multi frag now and then plus not being tilted and bringing down the energy of the boys.. it was great to see him staying positive and contributing with the team. Combine that with the fact all of Jks, Hunter, Niko and Monesy can and do clutch out rounds makes this iteration of G2 such a solid and consistent team. Don’t want to jinx it but I would be surprised if their name reigns dominant for 2023
