Hi, thanks for the comment. At the beginning of the videos I explained about Cosine function multiplication and Single Side Band (SSB). Here we have 1000 Hz carrier frequency, and 100 Hz signal frequency. so Cos(1000)*Cos(100) will end up to Cos(1100) and Cos(900), as long as the higher the frequency the more attention, and having both side will occupy unnecessary bandwidth (BW), so we need a low-pass filter to remove 1100 Hz. And this idea is the same for the rest of the filters.
