NS Railfanning in Locust Grove, GA

I make a visit to the railfan platform in Locust Grove, GA to do some trainwatching on the NS Atlanta South District which runs between Atlanta and Macon. During the afternoon, I managed to get seven trains on the single track mainline. The trains included mixed freights, intermodals, and a loaded BNSF Powder River coal train.

I love this place. I see alot of train guru taking pictures here. I managed to visit this place when I was training in Mcdougald, GA for conductor. Just sit out there and watch a couple trains. Also, while you there, next time try that restaurant right behind you across the street. Its pretty good. Nice video.

Nice catches. However I find Locust Grove too noisy so I always hang near the signals in Jenkinsburg
