I think it's a good idea to make a small water pool in the safety of your house so you can escape underground faster. It also helps in-case a Dweller somehow spawns on your roof. It might also be a good idea to make a small shack at spawn just in case so you don't get spawncamped into permadeath if a Dweller happens to be there.
dear dweller makers; in my personal opinion: Dwellers who destroy player placed blocks offer an cheap experience... I like it more when they find ways to circumnavigate peoples builds. Its much more creepy for dwellers to stalk you and slink into your bases vulnerabilities, then it is to see them bruteforce everything. Smart dwellers to me are creepy dwellers. And I think Tom would agree.

I used 3 chimneys with campfires built at the top so it could be located even outside... Dweller went up one of the chimneys, and divebombed like santa claus into my indestructable bedrock base; IMMEDIATELY ran to the iron door separator and locked the dweller in the blast furnace room.
start building trenches around certain places, dwellers cannot parkour meaning you can trap them and outrun them. However the Man from The Fog can climb so don’t use trenches on him to outrun unless you want to slow him down. If you want to survive more powerful dwellers use iron golems and iron to fight them off (This should be used more late game) (This is edited) I forgot some dwellers can move around trenches so they are better to buy yourself some time. You can even have them as support since some dwellers can break walls

Venison is deer meat. Source: My dad is a hunter lol. Base idea: make a cobblestone base with a tall lookout tower. Make the floor out of cobblestone slabs and top the roof off with slabs so nothing spawns on it. Do a block hangover like you’ve been doing

If you do make a tower, it should probably be a bit taller than siren head for safety reasons, and have an emergency exit that you jump down into a waterhole in a “basement” safe zone area that can lead to your mines through a tunnel. Also you should allow yourself something like a “safe haven” day once a Minecraft week, for base improvements and gathering. Also you could try starting a wheat farm for food too.
Hey, I’m a bit late but I’ll try to give my ideas 1: some guy mentioned trenches below, if you do end up building trenches you could use trap doors as sort of trap bridges. I’ve seen dwellers run through open trap door bridges and dying. 2: bucket PvP. This is just a little suggestion and I may be wrong. I think you can use either water or lava to slow certain dwellers. I haven’t seen anyone using this though so take it with a grain of salt. If you are being chased by a dweller place either water or lava and the flow should push it away and slowing it down, while also pushing you away from it. This may not work too well with water . If you are insane enough to attempt to kill one , pop a fire potion and try using lava instead

@@tom56934I have another tip for you, it's for The Knocker: if you make a bed (or find one) and sleep in it, TK will mark the structure that has the bed as your temporary base. However, if you keep sleeping in that same bed, TK will learn that's where you live. Once he learnt that, he'll occasionally spawn in your house 👻
