My first impression was 'not again with the flow switch up and fast rapping'. Kinda tired of it and thought it wasn't a good fit for a Nas track. But it's grown on me 😁
Em's not ignoring the beat. He's actually doing a polyrhythm. For example, imagine doing a 3 beat pattern over 4 beat bars. In this scenario, the patterns would match up every 12 beats. The 3 beat pattern would sound out of sync (to the average ear), but it's not actually when our brains figure out that it can count both patterns at the same time. This is the way many drummers think, and being that Em makes beats, it's easy to see these concepts laid out visually on the computer. He's playing chess with rhythms, while the average listener is used to hearing checkers.
I delve in and out of the ability to write in polyrhythm, as in being able to pinpoint syllables to the parts of the beats I want to so I can flow properly. But I struggle to do this passively any ideas on how to be able to constantly do it.

Its to express one's feeling's as bad or good as it could be and talk about difficulties in their life and its also about rhymes, flow and BARS technicity. Its pretty blur of what hip hop really is but eminem sure can be described as the goat. He suffered of racism, discrimination and extreme poverty and talked about it.
