I joined a bit after the categories leaderboard creation so all I know for certain is that it's the agreed upon src leaderboard timing rules for the category. I have a feeling this timing was decided to focus just on GSI part of the game (kind of like it's an individual level in the game) which also helps cut out the 5+ minute long intro one would have to go through every single attempt/reset. Something that is a hot topic discussion for the main board categories as of writing this. Being a category extension probably helps with this timing flexibility too right now. Hope that answer helps a bit
Anytime! Additional note, there's several rules to be aware with that board such as displaying the version number, starting from a fresh boot of the game, etc to keep in mind for a potential src submission if you feel like it. They all should be listed on the src page for the category extension. Again if you feel like you want to submit as you've said before. I wish you luck on the runs and hope you have a lot of fun running!
@Thundar001 I've only had 5 runs so far. 1st one was an hour and 58 seconds, and now it's 44 minutes and 49 seconds but now that I know it starts when link wakes up now. That takes about 7 minutes off
good job buddy!
Thank you friend!!!
Zelda? And goose game?! AND HOLLOW KNIGHT?! SPEEDRUNNING?!?!?
I think I found my new favorite channel
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the runs posted here as well as any future runs!
why does the timer start after you get the arm instead of when the game starts?
