- #TheDoux #WashandGo I had no clue that I could even achieve such a defined wash and go without the help of a gel. Im so happy with the outcome and its not at all dry or crunch from the alcohol most gels contain. This Mousse Def Texture Foam from The Doux is now my best friend.

I found sitting under a hooded dryer keeps the curls set on a wash and go for 4c hair

YESSSS to "I had no clue that I could even achieve such a defines wash and go without the help of gel" LOL This is exactly how I felt trying just the mousse this week. I'm on day 3 and still amazed that although I wake up with my hair matted, a spritz of water will reactivate the product- making refreshing my wash n go super easy! It's also a pretty light weight product, compared to using gel. WOOHOO. New staple for my "4abz" texture.

The line has a refresher spray as well. I hear it definitely compliments the mousse.

Do you think that the products would work on gray hair?
The first time i tried Doux, I just used water with the product and it made my 4c hair dry af. Afterwards, i saturated my hair with water, use a fair amount of organic shea butter, then the doux mouse for a twistout and it came out great. it was soft and not crunchy or dry.
How did you dry your hair? And how long did it last?
Yes, I'm experiencing dryness with the gel. I'm trying to not be a product junkie but I'm looking for new styles and decided to try a wash and go again. I'll check out the mousse and add my usual styling product, shea butter.
May I ask why didn't you finger brush your hair but instead used a brush? You are too cute by the way!
My hair is pretty dense and finger combing only would frizz my hair up. The Felicia Leatherwood brush helps separate better without frizz
