A grown person wedding is very different. They can't market to us.
My first marriage was a big wedding, 8 bridesmaids, big reception, bridal shower, girls trip, etc! Second marriage in my mid 40s was me and him, eloped in a 150 year old courthouse in a small village in Mexico. We found a local photographer on FB for $200 and bought my bouquet in the town square for $4. It was beyond perfect.

The FIRST wedding should not, just my opinion, be a Dosney Female Fantasy. Keep it simple, joyous, make things, make do, get creative, SAVE MONEY (college debts, house payment, future kids' college fund)!

Winter of 2022 I spent a month in Palm Springs and did an old Hollywood Tour. The history and houses were fascinating but so many of the house had been designed by an African American architect!
