- One crazy journey, this is how it happened.
We were filming throughout the entire covid / summer period of 2020 with absolutely no plan of what to do with the footage. All we knew was that we wanted to create something we were stoked on with no brands telling us what to do. Given how things went I am super stoked we kept the footage for this occasion.

Well I’ll definitely watch this more than once. I also noticed you’re on flats for part of the video and I’ve heard other riders like Ben Cathro mention they spend a good deal of time practicing on flats in the off season. Is it more to change things up for fun, or do you find it helps develop certain skills you don’t get riding on clips?
I can only speak for myself but I noticed that you kind of relearn the basics, I’m so used to just pull the back wheel up with my clips that it’s actually not that easy to get a decent bunny hop on the first few tries back on flats
For sure. I’ve swapped back over winter for the first time in 9 years and I really noticed how hard it is to keep your feet on, forced me to drop my heels more and think more about my position on the bike.
Definitely good to remember how they work! 😂
