And all of the parts fit together beautifully like a beautiful Puzzle. This is a great example of the way Kanami composes.

As to Unseen World...Kanami DID say she wanted people to learn how to play the parts...She would be happy with your dedication and would do her little "hand dance" to celebrate !

Damn Wave. It's just fascinating watching you deconstruct a song. Especially Kanami's songs. You can see the love and respect. As a non musician except as an avid listener, you're as technical as I get really. Cool day. new Band-Maid! 🙂

Great job! This is the way to do it. Slow it down and learn bite-sized pieces, then speed them up and merge them together.
If I remember the "Day Before World Domination" mook correctly*, that's exactly how the band does it. Kanami tells everyone well ahead of time what they are going to rehearse and at what tempos so they can be prepared. Then, their rehearsals are pretty regimented - they spend this much time on this song, and that much time on that song, etc. etc., until their rehearsal time is over. They rehearse it faster than the final tempo, so when it comes time to perform in front of people they can actually play a little bit slower than what they've rehearsed ... with confidence.
*Actually, it might have been a translation of a magazine interview on reddit - the interviewer went to one of their rehearsals, wrote about what they saw, and then interviewed Kanami about it.

Wow Wave, this is a great breakdown. Really appreciate all of your hard work to decipher what comes out of Kanami's head. I've pretty much figured that Kanami basically soloed the entire song. And in that, Miku is completely holding rhythm on her own. Miku is giving Kanami great space to just go full Mincho. And damn, you're a great guitarist. Kanami would be proud. Can't wait for the full analysis. ぽ

Hi Wave, thanks for your breakdown of Kanami's playing. Programs like RipX would help to isolate the guitars. You may have something like that already?. I have used RipX on a lot of Band-Maid songs, makes it way easier to hear what is being played. Forgot to say, Kanami is a genius, and it's still her birthday where I live 🙂

Kanami’s guitar playing is a hot mess of talent and passion that penetrates the heart of rock and roll. Put her in a band with 4 other musical geniuses and you have Band-Maid! I get to see them play in Seattle tomorrow

Was teaching a computer science class today and looking at how much data would an audio clip use depending on it's quality. I used this song to do the math saying there are more than 2 beats a minute. What would be the least sample rate we would need to catch each beat and at 24 bit quality now much data would it use.... Way to get my kids to do math to band maid ps I showed your video to them to say you were playing at 120 which gives 2 beats per second

At 120 BPM, it sounds downright bluesy.... Stevie Ray Vaughn ish.
