non binary means that you don't fully feel like a man or a woman. you might be genderfluid and have a gender that changes between man and woman or you might feel like you don't have a gender at all. also, not all non binary people use they/them!

Non-binary is about gender not sexuality It's where you don't identify as male or female and the way I understand it is that people idenitfying that way don't want others to assume who they are or what they like because of their biology as they don't feel the way society expects them to feel - thats why they pick and choose clothing regardless of whether its deemed masculine/feminine for example (if anyone with better knowledge of non-binary wants to correct me feel free as I'm by no means an expert)
