He's back again?!???? Let's goooo
Great minds think alike 😂
Lets go! 😂
Very epic!
iirc testing with the simple difficulty temp debug enabled, heating/chilling seemed to have increased/decreased temp by 2 points each, similar to wearing ice/wool armor pieces
watching every episode
Let's goooooo
Nice and informative, one less topic to retype to people.
1:00 - 2:29 Thorns damage is MAGIC, so it is boosted by magic damage boosters, notably Magic Focus from the gold set bonus or brewed MF potions. Overall reputation of thorns matches it's general usefulness, but the abilities of the gold set help power up thorns above the standard vanilla mending thorns.
3:54 - 4:09 If general protection wasn't OP already, they are also the only prot to reduce hyper and hypothermia damage (which is locational). Key to temperature tanking strats in winter/summer as thermia damage scales to your max hp.
9:08 I recall Nisch saying that inner Berserk procs after Lifesteal healing. It's still completely beneficial but that enchant effect timing affects usefulness.
I guess maybe you could go over the 2 different mending patterns: 1. All mending, the current recommended standard 2. Half mending half adv mending, I've been using this pattern since SilentStranger described 2 adv mend on chest/helm and 2 normal mend on legs/boots which avoids the random repair trait of advanced mending.
Oops, i think i do the mending thing backwards and put adv mending on my lower half and normal on my upper half XD. I'll definitely make sure to cover the different mending strats in another vid 👌
To your first point, i did make sure to mention thorns being magic damage, tho I may not have said it every time damage was mentioned.
And to the other two points. Woah. The inner berserk thing is a weird interaction fs, but I've never thought of just tanking temperature! lol
Thanks for the info! And nice seeing you here cdstk! 🫡
@@Calebrune3 As best I can tell your setup with mending on head and chest is correct. From what I've heard mending is the one that prioritizes low durability equipment first, making it more important to have on your vital armor pieces. This could be backwards though since I haven't tested it extensively and the rlcraft community isn't always known for it's accurate info 😅
@@discocrusader3305 yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Idk if adv mending would be better bc it would just full heal the gear to begin with? But it would be rng.
I'm Having a small YT comment trouble. Advanced mending is not random jf you limit the pool of choices. Here's a quote from SilenStranger who tested the setup:
"All mending on armor and advanced mending on tools and weapons is the general guide
The slightly better setup is Advanced Mending on helmet and Chestplate, and mending on everything else
Since advanced mending randomly selects 2 targets, if your helmet and Chestplate are the only 2 they will always get selected"
@@cdstk5925 Welp, guess I just do it backwards confirmed. Thanks for the correction!
i love your videos :)
