We got new mics and are still figuring them out 😂. Sorry for the bad audio at parts.
i have never been this early to a vid
its ok u ar the best
❣❣❣❣❣
Was just about to say so... no worries still good to watch
PS. Let me know when you guys are keen to come thrift in South Africa, Ill show you the routes.. better and closer than the Aussies
Scared me
I’ve been doing eBay for about 6 years. My best profit amount was some telephone conference equipment. Paid 175 for 23 items, sold 19 of them for 1700 within 6 days. Best % was a my little pony dvd, paid 0.10, sold for 40 on best offer or a Ralph Lauren coat a charity shop chucked out for free because of a stain, I fixed it and sold it for 90.
A fellow thrifter found a Victorian gold ring at a boot sale for 7, had it valued at around 5000.
I found a wild hogs dvd at Walmart for $2.99
Sold it at my garage sale for $1.00
Forever jealous that you guys have the goodwill bins. I would spend so much time at them if we had them in Aus.
That harley Davidson hat, wow. Amazing flip!
So enlightening to see some of your top sales were "only" in the $2-$300 range. A lot of ppl post $1000 sales and grails and make it sound like that's what they do all day long. My top sale was a $600 nativity set I just sold and below that my top sales come in around that $200-300 range. Thanks for sharing all you do.
Yeah we’ve never had a huge sale like that. Lots of $5 into $100-$200 though
Thanks Josh, would you be open to doing a tour of your new picture and packing station. Show us how the lighting and setup is now that you've moved. Thanks!
My top sale of all time was a manga I found at a thrift store for $3, just so happened it was very rare and sought after. It was One Piece Vol 1 Limited Gold edition, one of only 5000 copies, and despite being not in the best condition it sold for $2000 over on eBay. Other great pickups was a complete with box original Macintosh for $10, sold in non-working condition for $500. A set of 21 Yu-Gi-Oh! glow in the dark Japanese curry stickers, sold for $800. A vintage US Navy Ship Chronometer helm pocket watch, sold in non-working condition for $700. Etc etc.
I and most all full-time resellers will agree with Josh that success in reselling comes from consistent inventory, smalls that you make good little chunks of profit on, NOT those once-in-a-lifetime scores. It takes a lot of time, luck, and knowledge to find those lucky items so you simply can't rely on scores like that to stay afloat.
Agreed. My wife and I resell full time and most of our sales and $10-$50 items. We have scored big a few times but it doesn’t happen very often.
Good to see Hayley getting so comfortable in front of the camera!
I use to get mad when she wouldn't say anything lmfao
You guys really need to take out Zo (idk how you write his name :s) out for dinner or lunch sometime, what an awesome dude!
Zoe is such a great guy. I like seeing good will jesters at the BINS
Josh and Hayley!!! Thanks for taking us along and sharing what was found! I really enjoy when you two take us to the bins!!! A moment of Mose and his pineapple! He is such a good pup! Stay safe stay great! Keep up the good work!
Love the Top Sales recap! Thank you!
while i could not confirm it was exactly the same lid style, i recognized the logo on the bottom: that old style starbucks tumbler is desirable (to me) because of the lid configuration is the old true no spill lid with the gasket. you can take the lid apart and clean it (which I guess people don't like to do and that may be why that lid design was discontinued.) Those lids require cleaning if you use dairy in the coffee. So if it smells, take it apart and clean it. Make sure to take good pictures of the bottom and the lid to highlight that feature in the listing.
I just closed on a pallet of consumer goods for $83. I'm super excited to go through it. This will be a test of new discipline, no excuses!
Where did you get it?
I am going to do this in the new year. Have my hard to save $ .It was hard with heating costs, taxes,Christmas. But I did it. I just tried to set $ back everytime I found something I wanted while getting my Shopping done. But we have a local overstock pallet bins store. And I have purchased really nice gifts for a fraction. I just want to try it and see where it goes. I was a caregiver in my home for my Sweet Momma and Sissy. Momma was here almost 6yrs. I closed 3 flea market booths to care for them. They both passed 2wks apart last August. I am trying to figure out something to do moving forward that brings me joy. While making some extra $. Good Luck to you🌹
Those are definitely great flips. Our best flips yet are a Sterling silverware set that we spent $4 on at an estate sale and sold on eBay auction for $446. We also buy storage units and the second storage unit we ever bought we got for just under $200 and have made over $8,000 on it and we still have a few items we haven’t sold. Thank you for sharing
The Goodwill where you got the golf bag, that lady at the checkout is the sweetest. I always stop in there when in town from Kentucky. And of course the bins also.
My personal best to date, was an OEM jeep soft top with window guards, NIB. It was 1/2 price day at Goodwill, so I got it for 7.50, sold for 700.00 + shipping and it shipped from Ohio to Washington state. I have had some other great sales over the years, but on a single item, that was my best.
1:00 my gran had one of those ducks on her pond while I was growing up! We loved it!
I like how you did the recap while still thrifting . Great Job !
I found a goodwill outlet not near my house but close enough for me to visit soon 😅😅😅 I hope I find some good things like you all do
I liked the mix-and-match approach on this video. Besides cost of goods and the net income you get, I think you need to figure in a set charge for promotion time (photography and listing time) and a warehousing cost (space x time). What-not auctions would then increase in value due to reductions in these costs.
I remember you had that huge golf club pickup too a couple years back, that was a killer pickup!
Always great to to watch the two of in “the hunt”, even crazier on half price day!!🤪 I remember that huge club buy and few of the others too👏👏 Hello Hayley and Mose👋👋❤️❤️❤️
Those small Halloween Squishmallows are so cute and definitely worth picking up!
Hello on my hubbys account - been subbed for awhile. You guys got me sourcing this year to start reselling again, stopped selling when my oldest was little(shes27now) anyways just wanted to mention when you went to pay not sure if that was a credit card or what but you can make out the info (I wasn’t zoomed in ) so hopefully nothing that someone can use to scam you
Have a wonderful Christmas
It’s just my name and business name. No numbers
Love you guys! New video always brings a smile to my face
Benging your videos this morning b4 work😊. I wanted to share a recent find that blew my mind...a 1960's, men's,Omega, Seamaster watch from Habitat in Camden, SC. Paid $5. My husband checked out the authenticity and we saw comparable watches online for over $1000! He used to complain about my thrifting hobby...not so much anymore!😂 I really enjoy your channel, thanks for sharing all your info!
I'm a newbie reseller so am getting as much info and inspiration as I can on UA-cam. You got yourself a new sub!
Love the dual purpose of this video!
MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!!!
Loved the content as always guys! Didn’t love the change in video / mics. Love your normal vids!
You did a really nice job on this one. Great production and narration while you two are walking around etc. Certainly extra effort and it paid off!
Just subscribed! Such a lovely couple, and so down to earth 🌎!love watching
As always, a great video. Please tell me how to get vintage t-shirts authorized
Thanks for the annual recap, seems like you had a good year.
Happy Holidays to you both, keep the videos coming!
From, Susan in Fairfield, California
I gotta add a BOLO for y'all: variegated vintage yarn. I want it and it is HOT rn! I haven't been able to find much lately but skeins go easily for $15+ and are often as much as $20 for some you might pay 50¢ to $1 for!!!
I remember that hat, I need to visit that bins one day, we get mostly clothes and shoes here.
Great video as always guys! Could you do an update video on the items from the storage unit please?
Hey Josh and Hayley can you do a video of the top 10 worse purchase you made were you lost money thanks
Just an fyi. Brioni makes all kinds of clothes. It's the brand of James bonds suits
The Goodwill in my town is like Ross prices!! Not even close to your guys' prices!!
Hayley, Mose, Josh - wishing you well. Marie, Penny, John from Iowa
Great stuff guys! We need more Mose!
Thank you so much for this great video👍❣ I don't sell and I have what I need but, I love it when both of you are working together🤗 I really need/want a woman's point of view also. 👏
Hi, Great video! 🌲Merry Christmas🌲 ✌
"Some sort of something going on" and this is why I will have a smile all-day 😂😂🤣🤣
You guys are so awesome at what you do and seem to be such good people. I wish you all the best and all the success in the future! Happy holidays! And kisses to Moe's :-)
The blue patch on the duck indicates that it is a mallard (a female - the male has a green head)
Great finds. I just want to wish you both a Merry Christmas 🎄
I watch and learn and I am entertained. Now my wife watches with me and we resell as a side hustle and we both love it . Thank you for sharing your deals with us. Wishing you continued success and Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
I knew that big golf club haul was gonna be your number 1, I thought you got a Scotty or 2 out that deal. Nice find on the SM5 Wedge wish I could get 50 for mine I have 4 or 5 that I cant sell.
You can bring lululemon to the store and they will repress the logo on..just fyi
I wish we had goodwill bins in Australia.
My best sale was a shrek game for the gamecube that sold for $1750! Crazy what some people are willing to spend for some stuff!
The price tag for the ping bag was definitely the one on the floor. 👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣
I absolutely love selling slip dresses. I will pick up any that are vintage or Victoria's Secret specifically. But there are an item that I really love myself and there is a huge following for slip dresses in my experience
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I really needed it today. Most of what I sell is smaller items, but you're right... they do add up! It would be nice to find a few big money makers though, lol 😆 I appreciate all your content! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you, your family and Mose of course 😊 ❤️
One of my best deals ever best scores ever was buying a whole garage full of many tools equipment power tools etc for just $500. My mother in laws coworker was getting divorced and sold me everything for so cheap. I had to rent bring a uhaul truck for this deal and get a storage unit for just to store these items. She knew it was a steal for just $500. She was just getting revenge on her cheating husband. In the first 2 sales i got my money back. It took about a year to sell everything. I sold many items on ebay, fb market place, fleamarket, craigslist etc. After all fees shipping cost of goods truck rental and storage unit fees I made about approximately $3500 - 4000. Garage had cement mixer, so many power and compressed air tools, pallet jack so many sets of wrenches etc. From brands like dewalt, snap on, Milwaukee, etc. some tools that were worth $500 just by themselves that paid for everything. I was in the profit the first day in just 2 facebook sales. I even wholesaled some items to other flea-market resellers. It was a dream having so much inventory for so cheap I miss it. But ive also had many other good scores buying at the goodwill bins. Or just at some random arc thrift store here in Denver where I bought a new in the box old stock large epson printer for $40 and selling it within 15 min after listing it on ebay for $700.00. Which later found out I underpriced it. But i still got so much profit I was happy with.
Missed my favorite site ! Love you guys.
A whole bag of plush for 50 cents,😆 😂, that's awesome.
I wish we had these stores in The Netherlands
good advice, better to grab something than leave it. I've won, and I've also left things to look it up later or leave the other half of a toy or playset with out realizing it.
My best sale was an item I paid out of a storage locker I paid $70. The locker ended up being from a lab that closed. Sold one item from locker fot $3500 with an additional $1000 in sales. This years best finds was a bible I bought at a yard sale for $.25 that sold for $70. Also had a huge flip on a new copy of Scream on vhs I got for $.50. It sold for $100. My honourable mention which I am still processing is a collection of never worn vintage hats, 190 total. I paid $230 for all and am already turning profit with 10 hats sold. Still have about 140 to still list. Should make over $2000 on the purchase. I am also still selling from a collection of video games, comics & action figures I bought for $600 a year ago. I stopped counting its sales when it hit $10000 sold. Still have hundreds of comic books, about 100 action figures and some other misc items. A lot is still being processed and unlisted. Loved having turned my hobby into a career. Cant wait for yard sale season to start again next year.
Zo is such a nice guy! He needs to start making videos. Maybe you guys can help/hire him!!
I saw Sonny Las Vegas take the hangers off all the clothing before he got to the register and tried it. It does speed the checkout process a lot.
MOSES!!! love that dog!
My best flip, picked up custom made pocket knive at estate sale for $5 sold on Ebay for $200
This was fun. Love u guys
I knew your number 1 on the list. I watched that video when it first came out too. lol. Fancy new mics there. Nice list, I should make a video of mine too.
Great video guys, loved hearing about your best profits. Whilst I know it’s great to make those profits, I also know there is a lot of hard work goes into it too. You work hard and you deserve your profits. Good luck with those great finds in 2023. I hope you go on succeeding in your chosen work xxxx
My best flip was a build a bear that sold for over 2k, a model ship sold for 360, a bulls hat for 350, a vintage cooler with cup holders for 300, quite a bit of shoes for 150 - 200, and I'm sure there's more I can't think of. I've been reselling for 1.3 years now, top rated 100% feedback. Woohoo
Happy holidays & love / support from Iowa !!!! 🫶🏼🔥❤️🔥☺️
Some pretty sweet finds in the top 10, its crazy to think about those top three big profit in those.
Great video! Love the format! ❤
Goals!! Thanks for sharing--fun video! I guessed what would be #1 correctly, ha ha.
You need to post more often love your videos love to flea market and bends you guys need to do more together and Haley I would love to see you go on your own also God bless and Merry Christmas
@Elizabeth Lucciano I don't understand. First you say you'd love to see Josh and Hayley 'do more TOGETHER', then you state you'd love to see her branch out on her own. Hairy Tornado is her business. It is Josh's business. They are together and work as a well oiled team. They have found a success formula that certainly seems to be working well for them. They compliment each others strengths and yes, even weakness. Why would they even think of breaking that up? They're a team, same as in their marriage. When two people can work together as well as they seem to, it is always better for all concerned then having each going their own way. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
@@gordjohn2322 well one I didn't mean it that way that they should break up what I meant is I like to hear more from Haley because I like Haley and yes they do make a great team and John you got way too much time on your hand sir you didn't write a note or make a comment you wrote a book so Merry Christmas to you also and to Josh and Haley I didn't mean anything offensive
my biggest find was 7 2003 netpro tennis cards containing Serena Williams rookie cards bought the boxes for $5 dollars each totaling $35 and sold each box for 120 each. the profit after fees was around $750
I still can not believe I actually put my hands on that T-shirt and did not buy it. Great find Hayley! hopefully, it will sell soon.
Do the time & grind, must be highly self motivated hunting & digging find the treasures they won’t find you the Tornadoes have All these boxes checked!! All The Best aVery Merry Christmas 🎄 Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Remember the Golf Club buy can’t believe it’s been 2yrs I have Enjoyed the Ride!
Great video guys. Keep up the great content ❤
shoulda grabbed that tomy night light looks like 30-40 bucks used id say
Thanks for sharing, very interesting. God bless stay safe until the next video ❤️ 😍
This is a great video. Loved it.
Was that jack o lantern decor three on top of es other flat. A popcorn plastic decor? By chance? Hope not! Lol
Hello I'm a duck hunter, decoy collector and reseller and I'm looking at that decoy and thinking it is not big money. I guess the big question with collectable decoys is the material and who made it. From the video yours looks to be plastic which means is it not very old. And with the weathers on that female mallard you are not looking at a huge score.
Think we can get $13?
What about the snap mechanic tool set and box ....
Sound was fine. You're so honest Josh. Keep collecting that good karma!
Those are some great flips. Keep after it - happy hunting.
Hey! Where was that Handy for 5 or 6 bucks that sold for 250? It was some Clearence Center.
In Washington our goodwill doesn't sell cool stuff like hairspray!! Jealous of your goodwill out where you are.
I would like to talk to the manager about the poor sound quality of Josh's audio in the bin store please! Love to Mose!
Merry Christmas
The best thing you ever found at Goodwill were the pallets during Covid.
They made your youtube channel explode.
This is such great content so engaging
Great job!
It's all about the day to day $5 profits and the long tail. Keep swinging those golf clubs!
Awesome! 😃
Been selling for a year and my biggest flip was a $30 rainbird golf course sprinkler system and I sold it over night for $1000!
So how much are you selling the PSP for 😳 and love how the ginger bread costume was in the video 😂😂
That isn't the store that Hairy Tornado goes to because his is a Hollywood set with paid actors
I know this has nothing to do with the pallets, but I was wondering if you got them at the outlet or regular side. Thought I'd have a better chance at a reply if I commented on your last video.
Merry Christmas Josh and Hayley! As always, this entertaining and informative. I love that you share your wisdom with others that are looking to do what you do!❤❤❤
