Very encouraging. I'm gonna start working on mine cause "I've been working as a code monkey for this big company, fixing bugs and working on features" doesn't translate well to a portfolio
This is a good advice. I was thinking of taking a practice app to App Store, but again seems like a lot of work and not something that is interesting me. Have to deal with App Store build in my job anyways. Will focus on learning more cool shit.
I haven't done one about everything I do start to finish (I do that in the Dub Dub Grub course tho). However, I think this might be a good start - ua-cam.com/video/DnfNCBHo-qU/v-deo.html
Man… for an experienced dev in other languages, typescript, python, and lua in my case… what sort of resources to learn swift and SwiftUI would you recommend?
Hello, I am newbie in the iOS app dev. I was wondering is it possible for us to build some features for the iPhone? or is it restricted to internal dev of Apple
Hey Sean, is it true ppl can upload an app the presents images from a movie database? I build a whole wireframe and I’m feeling stumped because I don’t wanna build the app and get rejected for “intellectual property”?
I explore sites like dribbble to get ideas and inspiration. If you visit sites like that frequently enough you'll start to get a feel for decent design.
Bhai koi agar mei meri company mei C++ mei GUI dev kar raha hu aur abhi iOS Sikh raha hu toh kya kisi startup mei job mil sakta hai? I'm just one year experienced.
@@anotheraccount9917 of course. programming skills hai to job hai. Ek bar c++ main fundas clear Karlo. iOS bahut jaldi seekh jaoge. but don't do both things half heartedly. DS and Aldo, patterns are core of any lang or platform.
Waiting for 100K , Good luck Sean!
Awesome advice! Even if I'm not developing on IOS at the moment, it still applies to other platforms in general.
Thanks Vincent! I agree, the general idea is useful for all platforms.
You're a legend Sean
Thank you very much Sean! This video encouraged me to move onto the next project!
Happy to help!

Happy to help, Ryan.
Have you thought about doing a video where do discuss your interface design process?
I haven't done one about everything I do start to finish (I do that in the Dub Dub Grub course tho). However, I think this might be a good start - ua-cam.com/video/DnfNCBHo-qU/v-deo.html
Thanks. I haven't started Dub Dub Grub yet, I'm still working through your SwiftUI Fundamentals course.

You're welcome!
I'm building real production apps then i'm getting stuck for each one for long time, maybe i will go for small projects then
This happens a lot. Give the small projects a try and see how it goes.
Hi Sean, Can you please make video on design patterns like singleton, factory with an realtime example?
Very interesting, thanks!
Man… for an experienced dev in other languages, typescript, python, and lua in my case… what sort of resources to learn swift and SwiftUI would you recommend?

Wrong Subtitles option (dutch!) !
How many projects I should build for iOS jr job ?
As many as you need to gain the skills to qualify for a jr. dev role. There isn't a specific number.
Hey thank u for great tips
How can I improve my UI design skills?
There any tutorial or website that could help ?
