*_heather duke is so intimidating to me omg-_*
i'd seriously cry if i experienced this kinda bullying from her-
Veronica: If everyone jumped off a bridge young lady would you?
Heather: (with zero hesitation whatsoever) Probably.
That's both hilarious and actually kind of sad.
I love how Duke changes to red during shine a light reprise. Just thought I'd say it since nobody else did. Also, she looks flat out evil during it. Love it.
DUKE’S ACTING WAS INCREDIBLE-
MCNAMARA’S VOICE WAS PERFECT FOR THE CHARACTER-
MISS FLEMMING WAS ICONIC-
Everyone here did an amazing job
I like how the music is slightly louder than their singing because it feels like sounds like the heavy blood pumping through your veins with voices around you distance themselves while you're make a life/death decision
Edit: Also Heather M's curls are giving me life
i played heather duke last yr, was sm fun. i felt bad telling a girl to kill herself this scene, but other than that, i loved it
I always wanted to play Heather McNamara 'cause she's my favorite character and I'm kinda shy so i like to be just behind the starring and I also have my own moment so its perfect for me.
*Heather M hugs Veronica*
*Veronica awkwardly pets her head*
Adorable moments 🥺🥺
I really love this production! My only question is why Ms. Fleming has a puppet XD
Our concept was that each of the adults - depending on which one was more accepting of the world that "Heathers" lives in - was closest to human. Kurt & Ram's dads are just played by the actors who were Kurt & Ram, Ms. Fleming is a puppet because she is still "human", but she's a mouthpiece of all the students, the Principal and Gym teachers were cardboard cutouts because they're relatively useless forms that don't care about the other kids, and JD's father is played as a sock puppet on the actor who played JD's hand.
Faust Theatre i’m confused how did that work?
@@slayquinn145 Kurt & Ram playing their dads (we found out) was something the Australian production did (they also doubled Martha and Ms. Fleming), so it's not terribly difficult to double since the characters aren't in the same scene; we just dressed our two jocks in different outfits. Ms. Fleming we had as just a head (if you go to our Facebook page, you'll see the horrendously beautiful puppet head we had for the character) and she was voiced by one actress, but the head was on someone else's hand each scene that she was in (except for Me Inside of Me & Shine A Light, where the voice actress held her both times); the Principal and Gym Teacher were held by the actors that voiced the characters - they were cutouts of Sue Sylvester & Will Schuester from GLEE, but with our actors' headshots printed on top the bodies; a desk was used in most scenes to center everything; in scenes w JD/Veronica/Big Bud, JD and Veronica were sitting on top of the desk, and when the scene called for Big Bud to enter, JD pulled out a sock puppet and used his "Big Bud" voice. All to show that - in this world; the world of the Heathers - adults sound how teenagers hear them; they're mouthpieces; they're Simpsons adults, void of real emotion while the kids are screaming for change.
Faust Theatre oh that’s cool!
i don’t patronize bunny rabbits
ok shes the best mcnamara to exist
Agreed.
I like Elle and her!
She protecc
She attacc
But she can’t get off the child cap
0:14 Ms Fleming: This is a safe place
4:32 Ms Fleming: DIE DIE DIE
DUKES FACIAL EXPRESSIONS DURING LIFEBOAT GIVE ME LIFE
the 2 dislikes are heather duke and heather duke fake accounts
duke and chandler
Tori Tation Chandler wasn’t mean to McNamara. She probably would’ve got Duke off the team if she acted crappy in front of her. She always told Duke to “shut up heather!” Whenever she tried to say something Chandler didn’t care about it or was interrupting her
I promise I didn’t dislike it!
I’m so glad I found this! Best H. Mc and H. Duke I’ve ever seen!
We agree!
Faust Theatre stfu y’all suck the original is better
chrysalxsm What’s your damage?
chrysalxsm ✨shut the fuck up✨
@@707coded "🖕 sit and spin".
heather duke was GREAT in this. usually she's my least favorite out o the main cast, but i don't know, she really seemed evil here. She reminds me of Jade from Victorious here for some reason
I agree, she might actually be my favorite Duke
Duke is amazing here
"I'm going to end this girl's whole career" Heather Duke at exactly 1:16
I got chills wow! She was so unbelievably good!
The 6 dislikes are from heather duke and her 5 fake profile
If I could sing good I wish I could get the role of Kurt or Ram despite being a Biological Girl I am Non-Binary and I happen to know how to make myself look more Masculine
Thats good!
Shoot for this stars. You got dis.
this is really good!!
❤❤❤❤
Does anybody know what Veronica said after Heather said "Suicide is a private thing."
“Throwing your life away just to become a statistic on USA Today? That’s about the least private thing I can think of”

Tea Time Np!
are they kids?
They're all teenagers to early twenties! We felt as though the conviction of the story would need to be told accurately, and the best way to convey it to the audience was using the ages of the kids actually affected by school shootings and teenage suicide (everyone is affected by these things, but kids are living through it).
