Historischer Modellbau einer französischen Korvette nach Plänen von Jean Boudriot. Hier wird der Bau des größten Beibootes der Korvette, der Schaluppe, Schritt für Schritt gezeigt. Das Modell ist aus Elsbeere im Maßstab 1:48 gefertigt. Die Beschläge sind aus Messing brüniert hergestellt.

This is craftsmanship! I see all the other videos of people making much larger scale ships but with bloated, unfitting, ugly and not to scale details, that make the model look like a toy, and I just ask why? This on the other hand is simply amazingly done!

I am no expert, but I want to tell you that this clip made me happy. The metaphor of the model works as a cipher and leads nicely to: Boccherini - Russell Crowe & Paul Bettany - "Master and Commander''. Once caught, you cannot easily escape. I take this road many times. Respect !
