I personally thought she was playing the best game up until tony took control. Sophie made me realize just how good she was this season. I actually want to rewatch south Pacific because of her now.
She was phenomenal. The only reason she got outplayed was cause Tony led a masterful and stealthy last minute blindside. Credit to him, but no blame to her. It was legitimately impossible for her to detect that.

I don’t think her win was bad as she was the best out of the final 3. It was coaches to loose but he was just to fake and wasn’t sincere ever. It just was a boring negative season the way it went out and she wasn’t the biggest fan fav from it.

Coach and Ozzy were the returning vets, Cochran was like the ultimate super fan and Brandon was the nephew to arguably the most popular player of all time. They also had to use a good chunk of time covering redemption island. Sophie also played a very boring game and wasn't well liked by anyone. But, yea lets just write off as sexist editing.
@@ajl9772 If Sophie was a man, she would’ve got a better edit. Pretty much every woman except Semhar (first boot) and Dawn had a terrible edit. Christine was at RI since Episode 2 but we never heard from her until Ozzy beat her. Elyse who? Mikayla was known as Brandon’s obsession, Whitney literally had no plot whatsoever despite being the final true Savaii member, and Edna would have a big episode then go back to being invisible for multiple episodes. Sophie has the worst winner edit after Natalie W, another female winner.

True. Everyone says Jeremy. But Jeremy was never in control the entire game. And I really hate the fact that many winners were just floating in them middle riding coattails. All of them actually except for Michelle.
@@markrivera4325 Yup, Jeremy always seemed to be clinging on a flimsy raft the entire game. They kept him around because, fittingly, he was a good meat shield.

Id start thinking at the merge who do I take to the final 3 to where I have the best shot at winning. I was surprised that this is what went down in a season of all winners. I guess most of these winners were just not great. Btw, I'm proud of Michelle and Natalie. They both played a fantastic games. They didn't ride the same boat as everybody else did. I'm disappointed with Sarah, Jeremy, Nick, Wendell, Kim, Denise, Adam and Ben. I really feel that they just handed the 2million to Tony with the way they played the game. They didn't even consider voting him out. I'm not sure if they're unaware that the jury thinks he's the boss, or that they just wanted to stay for as long as they possibly could, knowing that they were not gonna win anyway. I think Sophie is a legit winner after this. She played her own game. I also think Tyson is a great player. A legend if I may say. I think Amber, Ethan and Danni are bottom tier winners. Of course, I know that Sandra, Parv and Rob are legends. They went down fighting with the odds that they were given. Yul is also good and a legit winner (not a legend but a great winner). Danni, Amber and Ethan are bottom tier winners for me. And of course. Tony was just the best.

Sophie has gone massively under rated for too long and I’m so happy that production was finally able to fix the mistreatment of Sophie and her character. In all honesty she was my favorite player this season.
If Sophie and Tony battled in the final tribal council. It would’ve been the best final tribal I would’ve watched since I started watching survivor. Tony and Sophie played the best games the season!!!
@@onetallpheeesh yeah but now that I think about it would also depend on how Sophie played the game after she got voted off. Just because it seemed like after that point Tony was in complete control of the game and controlled almost everyone!!!
I always thought her winning game was so underrated and I’m so happy that she gained so much respect during this game. I also love how she’s not afraid to show emotion because in a game like this that really takes courage.
She played great, but Sophie’s elimination always shows that you can never lower you guard and get too comfortable... especially when your playing with Tony...
I like how Boston Rob had no idea what he was dealing with when it came to Sophie and Sara. He just thought they were two random woman that would be easy to get rid of.
According to Tony's reddit AMA, Sophie was actually the one in control of their alliance prior to him blindsiding her. It was her, and Sarah, with Tony as an outside controlling the alliance. That was why the blindside happened.

@@pukakeneki905 going for Wendell out of Michelle and nick made the most sense. Wendell and Michelle dated and it seemed to of ended on bad terms (based on Michelle pov). On top of that Wendell was being shady and was making deals with parvati and Michelle in exchange for fire tokens

survivor best in the game she wasn’t as smart as Tony, but she was 2nd place, and in general she even admits Yul as a ‘nerd shield’ and that he is smarter than her
If Woo takes Kass to the end in Cagayan, then Tony doesn’t blindside Sophie in this season. Woo’s million dollar mistake potentially cost Sophie $2 million.
I'll admit that I didn't care for Sophie in her first season, but in her defense, she was only 21, so I think she just had some growing up to do. I was extremely impressed with her in Winners at War, as she was playing a great game until the greatest player ever sniped her.

sophie was my #2 going into this season... next only to Yul... so sad that their early alliance did not advance to the merge :( ... she played a great game this season, equally great to her winning season which only few realized how well deserved she was to win that season

Sophie was okay this season, I seem to have this like her/hate her kind of thing towards her, the thing that i like about her was her challenge prowess in South Pacific winning 3 immunity challenges even beating Ozzy at final four as well as playing a very silent under the radar type of game in Winners At War. But what i hated about Sophie was the fact that she was acting very rude at ponderosa in Winners at War; I hate the way Sophie criticized her fellow Survivor friends. They didn't say one negative thing about her when she got sick and missed attending Tribal Council in winners at war, yet Sophie called Kim "emaciated" and insulted Danni saying that she looked like she "was on her deathbed!" I view her as one of the worst competitors on Survivor, others include Dan Spilo, Jeff Varner, Brandon Hantz, Abi-Maria Gomes, and Pete Yurkowski. Sophie was the #1 player who changed their game for the best this season. She adapted to her situations both seasons and killed it!!
