I am an ashe support enjoyer but never understood why the meta before mandate nerfs was going umbrul glaive, anyone care to explain why umbral is meta and mandate liandrys morello isnt?

vision control, ability haste, and low cost all make umbral a good first buy. Liandrys ashe is kinda garbage now that it doesn't give haste and is also really expensive for a support. I'm sure someone else can give more specific reasons but those are the big ones

You can tell that support has Elo inflation from that Ashe game LMAO. The way they played vs Ashe lets you know they never played vs a good one because they took some of the dumbest fights and those early trades yikes.
