They have to be, considering what they’ve gone through. What other nation was carved up for nearly 2 centuries then knew exactly how to handle themselves when they did pop back into existence?
I saw that part in a documentary clip someone sent me about Sabaton, and it's frigging awesome seeing tens of thousands of people singing their anthem all in perfect unison. It's rare for performers to react that way to audiences, and it was as awesome as the crowd's singing. I don't speak Polish but I know the translation for the first two lines for the Polish national anthem, and that just made the crowd's singing even more awesome - "Poland is not yet dead, Not while I yet live!"
Now it is time for Winged Hussars! Here the Poles held off 40,000 Germans for three days. Winged Hussars tells the story of the Polish Heavy Cavalry arriving to Vienna, when the city was on the verge of falling to the Ottoman Turks, and routing the entire Ottoman Army and saving Vienna and a greater part of Europe from Ottoman control. Honestly I never respected exactly what the Poles have done in history, until I started listening to Sabaton. Then I started to research more and am very glad I did. Poland is vastly underated for their impact on Europe. Also, you should listen and react to all of Sabaton songs but The Last Stand, The Last Battle, Winged Hussars, Carolus Rex, The Lion from the North, Sparta, and the Lost Battalion are required listening for Sabaton.
Imagine being a fan of Sabaton and going to one of their shows for the first time then they play a song they made in honor of your country and before you know it your dancing your ass off under a huge god damn flag of your country as well... Think i would have a freaking heart attack

Your reactions is the first I e listened to Sabaton. Gotta thank the fans and you for bringing them to my attention. Awesomeness. On the same storyline music. Try Alexander the Great by Iron Maiden.
@@MrRockNRollLive It was a great Denver show. Delain, Sabaton and Nightwish. 2015. Apparently, that's the tour where Floor & Sabaton's drummer fell in love with each other. Now, they're married, and parents.🤘
@@MrRockNRollLive I saw them in Houston on that tour. Had no idea who they were before. The crowd was absolutely crazy for them. Downloaded everything they had on Spotify after the concert. Easily in my top 5 favorite bands right now.
Sabaton is my absolute favorite band, man. I feel compelled to let you know, in case you didn't already know, Sabaton is going to be touring North America with fellow swedish band Hammerfall in late September through most of October. You should google the dates, see if there is a show near you! They are incredible live, trust me. They are not a band to miss! I have seen them at least 5 or 6 times at this point and they are always incredible and SUPER fun, especially since Joakim (the vocalist) is hilarious.
You know, they're touring the US soon. You should check and see if they're coming near you. I'll be seeing them for the third time in three years. I guarantee you, it will be the most fun you ever have at a concert.
Not for a reaction but just privately if you care: The whole Poland-show is on YT in one piece, it's one of their best life shows yet (along with the double-stage one at Wacken). They got around 550k fans there, and they got such a grip on the audience it's insane.
If you get the opportunity I recommend you to see them live, first time I saw them live back in 2009 the whole experience was so overwhelming that I started to cry
i remember them putting this on their history channel and them saying that if they tour Poland they'll get lynched if this song isn't played - shows how much it means to the Poles and how much they're appreciated just for this 1 song alone. The song is more than just a song. Might want to get a hold of their heroes album, each song is a story about a hero funnily enough and the reaction to each song will be intreguing
Awesome reaction! 🤘 The band members almost lost their lives a couple of days ago. They were returning from a video shoot when a car ran into their van. Luckily there were 2 ambulances nearby. They are all bruised but ok.
Great reaction! I've been bingeing on them all afternoon. Since you love Sabaton, I'd also like to recommend Powerwolf's songs Venom of Venus or Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend. Your Epica reactions were great too and if you'd like to check out the band that inspired Epica's name, I'd recommend Kamelot. I personally love Sacrimony and Liar Liar both featuring the leads of two amazing female fronted metal bands.
In the same Warsaw Woodstock concert they sang about the 63 day Warsaw Uprising of the 1944 (not to be confused with the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto Uprising of 1943). The title of the song is 'Uprising' and I think it as good as 40 to 1. This Swedish Band has performed at least a half a dozen songs about Polish Military history with the 'Winged Hussars, being the most recent. In fact, they are so popular in Poland that they have been given honorary Polish citizenship according to one report I read. As an Australian of part Polish descent I appreciate this vid and its promotion of Sabaton. Thank you.
I’m from Sweden and so is sabaton. They do a song called carolus Rex, carolus was a king in Sweden who gets to rule when he was only 15 years old. It’s a great history lesson behind the songs. Look up sabatons history channel and see the meaning of carolus rex before hearing the song :) it will ad to your experience. You are an actor, so I’m sure it will touch you deeper if you know the history. Every song sabaton does have a meaning and taken from history. Sorry for my bad English;) I’m autocorrecting the hell out of this. 😂🙋♀️ love the reactions! Keep up the good work ❤️
With every song by Sabaton the beat is at full tempo an is carried to the end of song . Sabaton honors history through their songs . This how music should uplifting in both soul an patriotism for your country .
I also posted this under your other vid, gonna drop it here too for good measure ;) Other honorable mentions: Lacuna Coil Kamelot (especially their duets/collabs with ie Simone Simons (Epica), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), and Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) :D Amaranthe Xandria Within Temptation Tarja Turunen solo material (previous singer of Nightwish) Kobra and the Lotus And sooo many more but I'm sure you have it up to your ears with new band suggestions! :D But definitely love where you're going with this great band choices and powerful energy!
never understand polish mind if not live here min 6 months:) after this time u be live Poland polish ppl and stay here:) short... im rdy give my life evry time for POLAND, have good day
What i like the most about Sabaton is, that so many people have so many different songs as their favourite. To me, We Burn best Sabaton song, mostly due to the melody line. Back In Control is also awesome.
This is from Woodstock Poland, a festival that has another name now. Also it's a little known fact that the germans had a bad time of it in the early part of the Poland campaign. But then the russians came in 2 weeks later than they promised and it was all over. Rather than being impressed with themselves, the whermacht went into reorganization and retraining and the result you can hear in Ghost Division from the same concert. :-D
But in the battle of Wizna you can clearly see how difficult it is to cross a river (they destroyed the bridges) under fire and pressure. Later seen when American forces tried to cross the Rhein and all bridges were destroyed. And to this day (and in the last 2000+ years) warfare with foot troops, where you need to cross moving water is probably the most difficult battle there is.
@@Ri_Shin_Marco It would have been worse if the bridge at Remaghen had been completely destroyed, but in the end they would have gotten through regardless. The defense must be strong everywhere...
@@luisnunes2010 That is obviously right. But it was a last attempt to stop the enemy forces from the west. But let's be honest. In March 1945 Germany didn't had any resources left in everything and lost position after position in the west and in the east.
@@Ri_Shin_Marco Remember their resource problem goes back before the war starts. Taking on a naval power without a fleet when you can't reach them overland has always been hopeless. Also because of Versailles, they lacked reservists to expand their army and even the victories of barbarossa were almost too much. See prof. Citino lectures on youtube if you haven't already. Good stuff.
@@luisnunes2010 Well, your right! With only the north and east sea their operation points are limited. (they had ports in Italy and Spain but well let's not speak about it :D ) Despite that I would say their naval power rose to a power to be feared. And getting the US directly involved, I would say wasn't their plan to begin with.... But their you can add up all the errors Germany made in WWII and they add up a lot (like changing their target from the British Air Forces to London is in my eyes one of the biggest mistakes on the west front). But all in all Germany is lucky how it ended, because if the war would have been going on for a bit longer the first nuke strike wouldn't have been Nagasaki and Hiroshima but Mannheim and other targets in Germany. And I'm glad it ended where it ended (with the US joining), because I won't imagine what Germany/Hitler would have done if they invented the atom bomb. But that's theory and past our time.

Awesome reaction man, keep it up!
Your reactions is the first I e listened to Sabaton. Gotta thank the fans and you for bringing them to my attention. Awesomeness.
On the same storyline music. Try
Alexander the Great by Iron Maiden.
Seen Sabaton live in 2015 when they opened for Nightwish. THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE! You'd love their live performance.
@@MrRockNRollLive Good luck finding a bad song from them. It doesn't exist.
That's EXACTLY how I reacted the first time I heard this song. And THEN I read the story...
Have you found Sabatons historychannel?
@@lenasoderberg4653 subscribed even before they posted the first video. They tend to brag a lot on their FB page :)
You know, they're touring the US soon. You should check and see if they're coming near you. I'll be seeing them for the third time in three years. I guarantee you, it will be the most fun you ever have at a concert.
Seeing this band live is on my bucket list.
This is probably the best reactionvid I've ever seen.. We feel the explosion of your mind through our screens😎
during this concert was 600 000 people. All the best :-)
I fucking love your reaction. I wish I could go to a Sabaton concert with you. Holy shit! :D
Come check out the Uprising and the Winged hussars from Sabaton
i remember them putting this on their history channel and them saying that if they tour Poland they'll get lynched if this song isn't played - shows how much it means to the Poles and how much they're appreciated just for this 1 song alone. The song is more than just a song.
Might want to get a hold of their heroes album, each song is a story about a hero funnily enough and the reaction to each song will be intreguing
Everytime Sabaton is performing Joakim his right leg is be like: Not again Not today sir
It's free real estate.
Awesome reaction! 🤘
The band members almost lost their lives a couple of days ago.
Sabaton is a mastepiece! Nice vídeo dude!
The biggest festival in the Europe! over 300 000 ppl! And its for free. Im proud.
Sabaton is touring North America in the October. I have seen them 3 times and have never been disappointed!
Thank you.
If any kind of enemy will try invade Poland, I can promise you , that entire country will stand against without any exception to defend our land.
Keep up the good work ❤️
Alright alright alright, the video isn't as cool as the ones you're done so far, but PLEASE do Red Baron
Frederick The Great it would be amazing to see him react to the flying blood red Prussian circus.
Higher the king of the sky
you gotta listen to Sabaton- Warsaw Uprise (live at Woodstock Festival 2012)
Uprising from the same concert.. *PLEASE!!!!!*
Uprising live at woodstock is amazing too.
With every song by Sabaton the beat is at full tempo an is carried to the end of song . Sabaton honors history through their songs . This how music should uplifting in both soul an patriotism for your country .
Bóg Honor Ojczyzma pozdrawiam

Your reaction is so cool! Greeetzzz from Germany
What i like the most about Sabaton is, that so many people have so many different songs as their favourite. To me, We Burn best Sabaton song, mostly due to the melody line. Back In Control is also awesome.
he was the first to understand what the story is about. And I have the impression that he felt it
Greetings from Poland! Love Ya!
POLAND - We Do Not Beg For Freedom - We Fight For It
This is from Woodstock Poland, a festival that has another name now.
(they had ports in Italy and Spain but well let's not speak about it :D )
Despite that I would say their naval power rose to a power to be feared.
The Last Stand and To Hell and Back are some of my favorites
Stop uploading videos!!! I need to go to sleep and I just can't stop watching your reactions!!! 😂😂😂
