  • Join me, Amber Romero-Berquist, and Lady Sawder Rhite in this faux trip to the beach (Isla Mujeres in Mexico). Amber will teach Lady Sawder Rhite how to make this very versatile, easy, beaded chain to use with necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. ( I already knew how to make the chain so, I took a nap!)
This is a great way to extend the length of a gemstone strand. This chain can also add variety, color, and texture to your chains.

What do you do when you are setting a stone and you end up with a hole slightly too big for the stone that you intend to use? I was setting an emerald and it broke and my only other emerald is slightly too small. I would get another stone but they were given to me by my grandfather.

Nancy (Miss Solderight) said she was not sure what bated breath meant. I did not know exactly what it meant either so I had to look it up. It is BATED not BAITED as in to use bait. It is a short form of abated as in to make smaller or lessen. So basically when you are, "waiting with bated breath," you are in fact holding your breath in anticipation of something. That must be where they came up with the term, "Don't hold your breath."

Thanks Herb! Love etymology. You have to admit that going with the spelling, "baited" breath creates a better visual - just think of me with a shrimp hanging out of my mouth!!! Hah! Thanks again. Now, let's hope I can remember it.

(ok, ok, sorry, you've been more than a little busy and sequestered...) Is that your front yard,....before the apocalypse (the OTHER one)? xoxoxox Love this!.....Mexico....Meh....(well, definitely less expensive, by a few hundred thousand....boo hoo... - ("How thick do you wanna go before you cry..?)
