Katie Monet because, as much as the series has turned into a meme, all the movies are genuine pieces of art with a great story, writing, art direction and sense of overall production. Its been years since I saw one but I feel like if I watched them now id get a lot more out of them.

Back then when I heard this as a kid, this song meant nothing to me. Now as an adult, dealing with anxiety and depression everyday, this song made me tear up when I heard it in the movie. I miss being a kid without a worry in the world.😔

When my anxiety and depression were at their worst I’d listen to this song on repeat and cry myself to sleep. It sucked but this song really helped me feel what I was feeling, even if I didn’t fully understand it.

as a naive child, I was exposed to a lot of things a child shouldnt be exposed to. when I listen to this song, it brings me back to the days I should have been a child. I learned from this song that I have to let go of what I grew up with and look to the future. but the problem is they did leave me but they're still haunting me in the back of my head everyday even as I sleep in peace. sometimes I wonder how I managed to pull off being okay with being exposed to such things. this song makes me wish I wasnt exposed to any of it. or at least send me something that can always be with me and never leave me. everyone sees me as this positive, smart and creative person but I'm not really a bright person. my creativity comes from my overactive imagination that covers up my loneliness. it replaces what isnt and wont be there. my smartness is just me knowing more than I should know. my positivity comes from lies i convince myself with to be happy. sorry, I just wanted to let it all out.

It’s mind blowing that a movie can have such great songs. Literally every song in Shrek 2 is a whole new level. Most OST sounds good in the film due to help of images and movements, but Shrek 2 has those songs that slay on their own. And the film is very worthy too, one of my all time favourites.
This reminds me of my uncle who passed away last year, This will be our second Christmas without him.
I remember at his funeral my Aunt fell from crying and it broke my heart.
I stay up late and he died in his sleep at around 4 in the morning, I was awake and I feel guilty although it was completely unexpected and he was at his home.

Whatever it is you’re sad about, whether it a loss, a breakup, or you’re just depressed, you just gotta try to let it go
