Everyone was natives of Baltimore and not recruited from other states!

A public school at that. That means no crosstown or out of state ringers. All neighborhood kids.Thats amazing. As much as Mark Aguirre and Isiah Thomas being number 1 & 2 in the 1981 draft and grew up about 2 blocks from each other.

What about Larry Gibson and Tony Brown? Any info?

Tony Brown was a baller too. But at 6'3" with a Small Forward game, that would not translate well to the NBA. Not sure why Larry Gibson didn't have a career at least as good as Marvin Webster from Morgan State.

I saw Skip play in 1974. He was the best guard I ever saw until MJ. He actually led Clemson over NC State when they had David Thompson.

St. Anthony’s jersey city, 28 state chips, 4
    National chips, case closed!

St Anthony's, Dematha ( Md), Christ The King( NY), and others had great programs, but these weren't public schools so you didn't have to live in the " zone" to attend.Dunbar was made up of neighborhood kids who went to elementary and MS/JHS together, played in the same parks/ rec leagues.Alotta talent in Maryland.

True that, in this he case of St. Ant’s- no gym!
School is three floors, student body of 250, kids didn’t come from the lap of luxury areas of NYC and Jersey city, but respect to Dunbar - Real recognize Real!

@@georgerbkr Rice ( NY) HS was similiar. No gym.School was in Harlem, but home games in the Bronx at the Gauchos ( AAU team) Gym.Like St Anthony's, Rice had great basketball alumni going back to Dean Meminger ( Knicks) to Kemba Walker ( Celtics).

@@missayawk Each borough in NYC is bigger than Baltimore. Then you add in the factor schools in NYC recruit from other boroughs. Dunbar possessed only Baltimore city talent and mostly one side of town. Give Charm City its respect and throw in recognition for the rebirth of Nike Air Force Ones too! In the near future Baltimore will be heard in the rap world, its long over due!

@@1300mikehoward No doubt. That amount of talent from one city is amazing ( I think the whole state of Maryland has ridiculous talent). And I'm sure it's like when I went to school, some of the best ballers weren't even on the team. They might've been in the streets and didn't have time or dedication for practice, travel etc or just liked to play ball when they wanted to.Almost every baller( NBA) can tell you about a guy they grew up with that was more talented than them, but for multiple reasons never made it big.
