You know what I would love? A video that goes into retention policies, not just sensitivity - it's a challenge in our org to classify and apply retention automatically.

Noted. We don't have anything in the works for retention policies at the moment. Focus has been on data security with DLP, IRM, MIP, etc.

Very nicely, it is an attempt to streamline the digital transformation of primary documents such as records, licenses, and contracts until the alerts system has its structure, powers, and indications on one page after sorting, filtering, and categorizing the extent of their effectiveness and efficiency on an establishment’s system, so that it is ready upon any request for it, for example, purchasing tenders or entering. In competitions. Enjoy the organization that is ready even for modernization and at the lowest costs until it graduates until it reaches a high level of advanced, due to the establishment of which is a classification ready for any international or local standards.

Interesting. Am I understanding that this is applied at the application layer regardless of where the actual file is saved? File location being either local server mapped drive or 3rd party DMS platforms?

1:51 Min in the Video, can you help with .pdf that does not apply in Outlook. Example > Word ASSIGN Confidental label > save as CONFIDENDAL .pdf > attach to Outlook > Generic outlook PUBLIC label does not get the .pdf CONFIDENTIAL protection ... any input will be appreciated.

Does Purview apply classification labels to documents stored locally on the endpoint, or only on data stored in the M365 environment? Can the solution discover documents containing sensitive data on file servers and endpoints in an on premise environment and label accordingly?

I am interested in seeing how to create consistency across multiple users' behavior when interacting with Purview or responding to its suggestions e.g. accepting/declining sensitivity levels.

Hello, I have got my files and folders in a cloud SAAS app ( not sharepoint or onedrive ) will the purview still do auto classify? I am able to connect the saas app in cloud app security.

It would be interesting if this auto-classification functionality would be available to non-Purview users/owner organisations in the future. That is, in Office (online and desktop) by default with no Purview being purchased.

Thanks for the video. I think this video for Microsoft 365 for enterprise customers.
