I love your finished cards. I have a Fiskers paper cutter like Lynda and very similar to yours that was less than half the price of that one. I also found In Love Arts prices a bit wonky too. I do love my flower and mushroom stickers from them though. Thanks Nina.
Very Fair review. I absolutely adore the cards and I love the vellum stickers!. I have bought items from Aliexpress but I only ordered them when I discovered some of the very expensive brands which I have purchased from the States were in fact made in China! Quite an eye opener for me!

I believe that you are right in being honest about how you feel about the products, if companies only wants good reviews regardless of how they are priced etc. Then they are being dishonest themselves. So I wholeheartedly agree with how you've reviewed the products. And to not stock new blades for the trimmer is a bit of a red light for me too as well as being overpriced... The stickers are lovely but again Mo Card stickers generally are available through Ali Express and the prices are fairly similar...?? I will say no more than that, as plagiarism is a big big problem I know for many people/companies.

I think you have been very fair and honest. I have bought the little box of butterfly stickers from Ali. I just checked and they were 52p including postage. In my opinion it looks like they buy from Ali Express and inflate the prices. I also have a near identical cutter from Amazon for under £10. Btw you can buy generic blades cheaply for it from Amazon and eBay. Absolutely love the little cards you have made. They are beautiful. Thanks for sharing 💗

Fantastic review. I have a Fiskar trimmer and it goes through blades like nobodies business, although it is sturdy, but it did cost me around £25.00. Loved the stickers, well not the ones that cost $4.22, but the rest were fine. Tfs xo

Aliexpress is terrible about stealing ideas, they even steal from Ranger. However, it looks like In Love Arts purchased their stickers from Aliexpress despite their claim that their cutter was counterfeited. Those stickers that you showed are way less than what they're charging for them. I bought the larger flower package (not the folder) for $4.95, and all of the small boxes of stickers were selling for $0.69, so In Love Arts' markup is pretty high. I don't buy from Aliexpress any more because it looks like they're charging shipping on most items now, and I'm not going to pay for shipping and still wait 6-8 weeks for delivery!

My suggestion is to look at AliExpress. They have beautiful selection of stickers and ephemera for great prices. I stay away from the clear stamps or anything that feels like it is a knockoff.

Hi Nina, I did a quick browse on Duckduckgo for Lavinia Garden and Ali Express came up in the search. I do think some of the items you purchased were over priced. I have seen the same exact Botanical flowers stickers in many shops on Etsy for much cheaper. .

Thanks for your honest review. I have ordered stuff from Wish and deeply regretted it. Not that it wasn't usable, but later I found that most of the stuff was stolen ip. I won't be giving them any of my money again. I have to say that they way the stamp sets looked (though I didn't recognize them) I mean how they were packaged, is an indication that they are knock offs. I'm not claiming that since I don't know for sure, but these type of companies while very 'cheap', are just stealing from legit brands.

I thought the trimmer looked cheap and flimsy from the start. That's a lot of money. Having no way of getting a blade is outrageous.
I don't see the difference between buying a trimmer on Ali Express to one off Amazon where several designs are the same just with different names added. A design is a design.

I have an IDENTICAL paper cutter from HOBBY LOBBY. I spent $17.99 (USD) Same issues. One blade. Went dull after one project cutting thicker paper and multi media papers. It cut perfectly....the first time. Then snags, tears, etc.
I have a difficult time believing that paper cutter is an “original item”, as SO many other companies carry the exact same design. Even if it is as they say, it boils down to the following; it’s cheap plastic, lightweight, comes w only one blade which dulls quickly ( @ least include replacement blades). I’ve had difficulty finding replacement blades.
It’s just not worth $30.00. Honestly, it feels like a dollar store item. It’s more of a disposable item you’d purchase on vacation if you forgot your “real” one & didn’t want to invest in another.
I have a vintage 1970s-80s clunky, heavy, elementary school paper cutter! It’s my pride and joy and was acquired at a junk auction at a school. They just did things right back then! Obviously, there are no replacement blades... 😂. It’s a machete that you sharpen like one would a chefs knife. Only problem-one CANT travel w it. It may even be considered a weapon.
This is the only reason I’d purchase a cheap plastic cutter like the one you reviewed. I’d NEVER spend $30! It’s probably not worth $10 tbh. The numbers and measurements have even rubbed off mine and the blade is not any better than what I shave with. (And even my shaving blades have replacements)
Thank you for your honest review. It must make you feel like you’ve been put in an odd position when they give you free items. However, if the company is honest and has quality items they’re willing to stand behind, it is the COMPANY which benefits greatly.
The amount of people that see your videos and will run out to purchase an item you recommend FAR OUTWEIGHS the $50 allowance they gave you to spend. On the other hand, one negative or ,in your case-HONEST review, can work against the company. You did a beautiful job of giving compliments and criticism where it was due. Thank you!
Is that a spare cutting disk on the underside of the paper cutter?
No, there is definitely no spare cutter underneath. That’s just the underside of the orange trim you can see.

I have bought that cutter in Canada at one of our 5 and 10 store for about $4.50 it dose not have a name one it and the arm has brook off all ready but still cuts good Hugs Bonnie
That was a wonderfully honest review. Your projects were, indeed gorgeous. I have to agree that the price on that trimmer was outrageous. That said, they are right about Ali Express being known counterfitters who use very cheap materials to copy others' products. Still, $30 for a plastic trimmer with no replacement blade? Come on. Thanks for sharing. I always love your work!
Thanks for your honest review, I certainly wouldn't pay $30 for the trimmer, specially as it looks like you can't get replacement blades. The stickers look good, but the little packet does seem expensive compared to the ones in the folder. I love the beautiful little cards you made. Have to say you get what you pay for when it comes to stamps, but if they're a few $ or £ then I expect that they won't last a life time anyway.
I had a bad experience with in love arts customer service. They do not want to accept any fault. Their English isn't great either.
